I recently had the pleasure of dining at Giappuglliese and truly exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable hospitality that made me feel right at home.

The food at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish was beautifully presented, showcasing the culinary mastery of the chefs. The flavors were delicate yet bold, and every bite was a delightful explosion of taste. From traditional sushi rolls to mouthwatering rolls, to even exceptional tasting pasta, every dish was executed with precision and care.

The palce is what it is. An all-you-can-eat. Therefore do not expect any fine dining experience or any attention from the waiters. Upfront I have to say that the concept (mixing sushi with cuisine from Apulia) is interesting and the food is good. However I have a problem with all the rest. You sit down and the first thing that happens is that the waiter comes and tell us they they usually start with a round of random appetizers and that they also have some "special fish platter" that is "not on the menu". The "not on the menu" part means that you would have to pay extra to get it. But that wasn't clear at all, they were clearly trying to scam us. Then the food started arriving. And kept on coming without any possibility to choose or ask for something. We weren't allowed to order anything for an hour and then just at the end someone stoppet to take the orders. So basically we didn't choose anything. We ate a lot, but at the end of the night we spent 45€ and we ate what they wanted us to. Which, to me, seems unreasonable and not worth the...

NON E' ALL YOU CAN EAT certo dicono di si ma se vi presentate in un tavolo numeroso potete scordarvi di riuscire ad ordinare normalmente, ecco la mia esperienza. Mi presento insieme a altri 5 ragazzi appena seduti arriva il cameriere e la prima cosa che dice è se ci fidiamo li lui, intendeva proporti una specie di menù degustazione insomma. Essendo la terza volta che andavamo volevamo ordinare così decliniamo l'offerta. La cosa non per niente piaciuta al cameriere che scocciato ci ha chiesto di fare un ordine unico e chiamarlo quando avevamo fatto così se ne va per la prima volta. Il menù è costruito in modo tale da scoraggiare l'ordinazione in ogni modo, ogni piatto ha un nome diverso e solo suo, non ci sono numeri ne qualcosa per segnarli, l'ordine dei piatti cambia a seconda del telefono che apre il menù e molte altre cose che ti rendono impossibile ordinare normalmente se si è più di 2. Dopo un ora riusciamo a segnarci i piatti così chiamiamo il cameriere che abbastanza infastidito si inventa una scusa e se ne va per la seconda volta. Questo giochino in cui ci propone questo cavolo di menù degustazione e quando decliniamo scappa va avanti 3/4 volte, 45 minuti se ne vanno così, senza neanche aver ordinato. Alla quinta volta lo blocchiamo in ogni modo e riusciamo ad ordinare ma sorpresa sorpresa ogni cosa che dicevamo un piatto ne inseriva la metà senza neanche curarsi di nascondere la cosa. Una volta accorti di questa cosa ci siamo un filo arrabbiati ed abbiamo cominciato ad ordinare 3 volte tanto, ma nel frattempo erano passate 2 ore in cui arrivava qualche piatto ogni tanto, ovviamente l’appetito è rovinato così. Esperienza pessima, se devo andare in un posto ed essere preso in giro preferisco mangiare a casa, la cosa bella è che non ne hanno neanche bisogno, il cibo è buonissimo, il prezzo è giusto, è sempre pieno e la sala è enorme ma nonostante tutto usano questi mezzucci per guadagnare un po’ di più che rovinano completamente il posto.

EDIT: potete dire quello che volete ma dal momento che impedite ai clienti di ordinare non siete all you can eat per me. il fatto che il cameriere sia in realtà il direttore è solo moolto peggio ve lo assicuro, e per quanto riguarda il menù forse mi sono espresso male, intendevo che il fatto che l'ordine delle categorie cambia a seconda del telefono lo apre più la mancanza di un modo per riconoscere un piatti facilmente (come i numeri) e dato che il menù è enorme (sono letteralmente 2 cucine diverse) ti rende impossibile ordinare in meno...
