Mappamondo Royal Milano — Restaurant in Milan

During my recent visit to Milan, I had the pleasure of dining at Mappamondo Royal Milano, and it was an experience to remember.

The Spaghetti alle Vongole was a perfect blend of flavors, with al dente pasta coated in a light, garlicky white wine sauce, enhanced by the brininess of fresh clams. It was simple, yet exquisite—a testament to the beauty of Italian cuisine.

The Risotto alla Milanese was another highlight, with its creamy texture and vibrant saffron flavor. The dish was rich yet perfectly balanced, offering a comforting taste of Milan’s culinary heritage.

Dropped by for lunch with a friend. I recall the menu not being overwhelming with options, which I always like.

My mussels pasta was cooked al dente, but I would have been more satisfied with more mussels. Friend had good things to say about the pizza. It was quite cheesy.

I cannot remember the name of my dessert. It was good, if ever so slightly drier than ideal. Cream helped.

After getting the steps in around the vibrant city of Milan, my wife and I dozed off and had a Power Nap. She resurrected me and we realised how late it was and we needed to nyam some scran.
