From the outside, the Basilica seems like an ordinary Italian Basilica, with a simple yet elegant façade. But the inside is everything but simple! The Basilica is rather large and has a regal and stunning interior! A chapel in the Basilica was erected by the noble Arese family; a Milanese noble family that in the 16th century married into the Borromeo Family. The Basilica is attached to the Science Museum and is a must see when in Milan.

What a beautiful discovery this was! We wanted to go to the museum that is close by, and discovered the basilica by chance. From the outside you can’t tell how beautiful it is on the inside. The ceiling is a gorgeous work of art that you can stare at for hours!
