Simply the worst experience that I already had in my whole life (16.07.2021). I was with my husband walking around and wondering to find a place where we could have some beers before to eat. We weren’t looking for a bar just to drink, but we weren’t also planning just to seat, take a dinner and leave the place. The waiters approached me on the street, while my husband was in a call right by my side. I decided by my own and we took a seat, since they were very friendly (or at least appeared to be). The waiter responsible for the table gave us the menus and left, my husband was still on the phone (the call took around 2-3 minutes after we were sitting). As soon as my husband turned off the phone, the waiter came and asked if we wanted to order food (my husband did not have time to open and check the beer options of the menu). We answered that first of all, we would like to have beers and we ordered them. The beer took a maximum of 5 minutes to reach our table. In 10 minutes, he came back 3 times to ask what would we order. At the third time, after a maximum of 15 minutes seating, he just looked to me and said: if you want to take a seat here, you need to order food. At that point, I was so embarrassed, annoyed, bothered and stressed that I just looked to my husband and said “please, order anything because I just want to leave this place.” I was decided to give up on my plans for dinner because of the service. I wasn’t seating there to be pushed to have a pizza in the first 10 minutes. He then ordered a portion of arancini, with 2 units. Another waiter brought them to us and when we said “Grazie”, he just looked to us and turned around - no answer at all, not even a “prego”! We ate the food and it was Ok; nothing terrible but nothing extraordinary. As soon as we finished, around 30 minutes later, we ordered the bill, they were charging the coperto (2 euros each) as well as the food (2,50) and the beers (6 and 5 euros each). My husband, without any question, went inside to pay the bill and said that he wasn’t satisfied with the received serviced. The waiter said that he was trying to avoid to pay the Cuperto and he said that this wasn’t the plan, that he was just complaining about the service but he would pay everything. Although we don’t think that they should charge the cuperto - since they did not bring any bread to us, they did not inform us previously about the procedure or anything else - we weren’t planing that and we really paid; since we’ve been to several places in Italy and we know the tradition. If the service wasn’t so bad and rude, we would have ordered more beers and food for sure, but they just decided to put a “bit” of pressure on us. Even if this restaurant turns to be the only place to eat in Milan, I would never be there again and definitely do not recommend.
Updated (2024): The restaurant contacted Google to remove my review on the grounds that I hadn't been there. Therefore, I am adding photos taken on the same day to prove that...
Read moreIt is often convenient to select the most accessible pizzeria in Milan; however, being guided by two long-term Italian residents led us to discover extraordinary and uniquely charming establishments that were truly off the beaten path.
The pizza was magnificent. Although I am not typically a fan of cheese, I found myself making an exception for this pizza. From the crust to the toppings, it felt as though I was dining at Milan's finest pizzeria.
They offer a wide selection of choices to cater to every individual's preferences, ranging from unique date-infused pizzas to traditional ham pizzas.
The drinks with the pizza would make anyone's mouth water.
Following this exceptional meal, no pudding was selected, precluding me from offering a verdict on the desserts. However, I encourage you to visit and share your experience, as I believe you will not be...
Difficile consigliarlo...
