This restaurant is one of, if not the worst I have ever been too. Came here with my partner after enjoying the surrounding area and deciding it looked like a busy restaurant and so couldn’t be that bad. To be fair to them, the food wasn’t awful in that it was edible, but bland. I had the carbonara, the ‘bacon’ was entirely fat, I had three pieces which were not just fat. Also, the sauce was just egg, no Parmesan or pecorino or even pepper and so tasted of nothing. My partner did say his bolognese was nice though. Also to give credit, the pricing was reasonable. Our main issue was the service, we were sat inside like we asked but while we were browsing the menu, the blonde waitress came and shoved us and our table to within about 3cm of the table next to us. She then shouted at us rather rudely in Italian about needing to get through, however they had sat us there and we had not moved the table and had only moved the chairs to get into them and then pushed them back in. There was also plenty of room to move through. After this, the meal was hard to enjoy. When we finished we asked for the bill and waited about 20 minutes before we asked again for our bill. Again, nothing and so we asked another staff member and nothing. We ended up going over to the bar to pay because we had waited over half an hour for it and wanted to leave. When we got there, the waitress who had shouted at us and was in charge of totalling the bills was instead talking to two men while holding the bill we had been waiting for in her hand. The restaurant was also filthy, full of dust in the bathroom and main room and the food was brought up by a kitchen porter in a filthy apron who proceeded to stand at the top of the stairs to the kitchen with it going cold while he tried to get a waitstaff’s attention. I am a waitress in an Italian restaurant myself and have been for 6 years and I would never shout at a table or physically move them while they were sat, it’s completely rude and...

I tried to look on the best restaurants in Navigli Milano, and one of the restaurants showed up was this Naviglio 48. 4.6 stars with over 1K reviews seems promising so honestly, I didn’t bother to check the negative reviews.
Went to the restaurant and the first thing the woman asked us was “Are you going to eat?” On the most coldest tone you’ll probably hear. We really didn’t bother her tone because maybe she just wanted to know if we’re going to eat or just drink.
Fast forward, we ordered 2 pasta meal (cost €10 each), 2 aperol spritz (cost €7 each), and a bottle of water (cost €3).
Here’s the negative experience: Waiting Time - We waited for almost 45mins just for 2 pasta meal. (No tapas or free bread offered unlike other restaurants here in Italy) Amount of the meal - Seriously, its a size of you fist! The cold treatment of the staffs. You won’t even see a single smile comung from any of then. COST - I seriously don’t mind paying because the amount wasn’t really that bad. However, if you compute the total amount written on the receipt attached on this review, there was an extra €4 charged to me which I didn’t know where they got that but the photo attached was the only receipt they gave me. I was just pissed and just didn’t bother to ask to be honest. And based from the other reviews, I guess that’s like a service charge (which to be honest, it’s absolutely unnecessary!)
Overall, PLEASE READ ALL THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS! In my own experience, it’s 90% all true.
Lastly, I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AND WILL NEVER...
Read moreHonestly, this place was so lovely. The view from the table was breath taking (great to come and see the sunset, while relaxing with some wine and great food). This was some of the best spaghetti I have ever eaten in my life. The prawns were delicious and sauce was perfect. I love the al’dante texture of the pasta all over Italy! The only reason that I didn’t give it a 5* was because, the dish that I had, had a bit of a crunch to it, making it like you could have been eating dirt while chewing on this delicious food. I had ordered the chilli, prawn spaghetti. I highly recommend this dish. Also, the drinks were severely overpriced and not worth buying. €4 euro for a 330ml can of coke, Fanta etc... you’re better off buying a cocktail and going around the corner to the delicious ice cream parlour and buying a can of soft drink there for only €1.30! The waiter must have seen us drinking our drinks away from the restaurant as there is no way that I would allow anyone to pay €4 euro for a can. It’s not even that expensive on the plane!! He must have been a bit upset with us at the end, which is understandable, so completely ignored us afterwards. However, all of the staff there were excellent. The food is also highly expensive for what you get, but I guess the taste and the dishes make it worth the price! Of course not forgetting that beautiful environment and gorgeous views...
