I donât normally write reviews but had to give this an exception.
We sat down and after like 5 minutes a waiter came to our table and rudely asked if we were ready to order (no she didnât even say hi before that), which was weird since she never even brought us the menu, when we politely asked to see the menu she gave them to us and then stormed off. But this wasnât even the bad part.
Me and my friend were being attacked by mosquitos. Like Iâve never seen that many mosquitos before, I think in the timespan of 10 minutes that we were sitting there I probably killed 5-10 and saw many many more, they kept landing on us and on the table. We obviously asked a passing waiter to move tables, which she just replied rudely âwell thereâs mosquitos everywhereâ we still insisted to move to another location which she said âokâ and then left. As we were leaving to move inside we run into our original waiter carrying our food and let her know we wanna move inside because of the mosquito attack, to which she just replies, and I quote: ânoâ and puts our food on the table anyway, a long with a mosquito repellent.
After a couple minutes my friend gets 2 bad mosquito bites on her face that started to swell up, to add to the many we already had on our arms and legs. After this we obviously couldnât stay outside as the situation with the mosquitos didnât get better. We ask another random passing waiter to move us inside to which she replied âokâ (we had to move our stuff by ourselves though).
Once sitting inside already eating, our original waiter sees us and starts making a fuss (we didnât call her or need her or anything). She was incredibly rude and unprofessional, she asked âwhat are you doing?â And then said we were causing a âbig problema for meâ, we told her that if this was such a big problem we could leave, which she replied for us to do whatever we wanted and stormed off... we were honestly so shocked and offended. We really couldnât believe what was happening.
When we asked for the check a Third waiter came and this one was actually nice and polite and asked us if everything was ok. The food was good, not outstanding but definitely not bad or on the same level of the service. When we were leaving our original waiter came to us and tried to explain the situation which we did appreciate... but at this point i just feel like the one star was earned... we were costumers at a establishment but were treated as if our presence was a burden. Canât believe I paid âŹ30 for this. Iâve never experienced service like this anywhere in the world.

Read moreUpon reviewing the menu, the "stinco di maiale arrosto con verdurine" immediately captured my interest, with Roast veg on the side. I subsequently arrived for a table for one, and while the atmosphere was rather subdued, I appreciated the opportunity to observe the diverse conversations occurring in various languages.
I proceeded to order a bottle of water and was promptly assisted by a courteous waiter who was proficient in English. He kindly informed me that I could take my time with my order, which I found to be a pleasant and unhurried experience.
I have my trusty Fold 7 interpreter on to help me if required and have a god at trying to pronounce the Italian language because I was no professional, but it has to be said it's always nice to try and fit in when visiting a new country.
Regarding the cuisine, it was of a consistent quality, which is not a negative aspect. While it did not particularly excite the palate, it was satisfying, akin to a comforting homemade meal prepared for a Sunday repast. The vegetables were expertly roasted, and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. The accompanying pork portion was ample, appropriately sized for the meal, and impeccably prepared, effortlessly separating from the bone.
I appreciated the unhurried ordering process, which allowed me ample time to make my selections. The staff was promptly attentive when I was ready to place my order. I commend the establishment's location and exceptional...
Read moreTrust the reviews on this one guys, we didn't and paid the price. We wanted a cosy pizzeria/trattoria that served homely pizza and pasta dishes. What we got was an empty hallway leading down to the restaurant, with a waitress the other side of the door almost snarling at us before we'd even entered the restaurant. Pointed at a table for us to sit at, then her male colleague eventually attended to our order, very strange hyperactive mannerisms and noises, completely unprofessional for front of house. Add to the fact all the waiting on staff were wearing Nike trainers, just a poor show.
We both ordered spaghetti carbonara, as this is our favourite dish. The worst we have ever tasted, anywhere in the world, nevermind in Milan. We left half of the meal, didn't finish our drinks and politely asked for the bill when our plates were taken. The young man who said he'd get the bill never arrived after 10 minutes, so we settled it ourselves at the counter. The first restaurant in my life where I have not left a tip.
Hundreds of other restaurants in Navigli to choose from guys, avoid this one as it is quite clear they have a problem from management downwards, never seen such an unhappy looking workforce. Atrocious food which spoilt an otherwise...
