Ristorante Sciuscià — Restaurant in Milan

As of mid-October 2024, Sciuscia A Mare is located at the same address as Gigino Pizza.

This place was hands down the best dinner I've had while in Milan, and while on a seven-week trip all over Europe.

The service was fantastic, starting with the waiter waving us into the restaurant, as we'd went to the previous location of the restaurant. On entering, we were given free prosecco. Both the waiters were fantastic, checking in on us after we ordered wine and appetizers, as well as after we received our main courses. We also received free meloncello (a must try!) and Tiramisu.

The seafood here is absolutely to die for! We got the seafood salad, the grilled seafood platter, the seafood risotto and the seafood pasta. Everything was fresh and full of flavour. I highly recommend Sciuscia A Mare to anyone...

Premetto che non posso dare un giudizio sul cibo perché per ben due volte ho prenotato correttamente tramite Google e per ben due volte hanno rimbalzato la mia prenotazione. Circa due settimane fa ho prenotato di sabato pomeriggio per la stessa sera alle 20, dopo 15 minuti mi viene inviato un SMS dal proprietario che mi avvisa che in realtà non hanno posto, il primo turno libero è alle 21:45. Ok, lascio perdere. Riprovo di nuovo questa settimana sempre tramite Google ma questa volta prenoto il venerdì mattina per sabato sera alle 20:30. Sabato pomeriggio ricevo email e sms di conferma come memo della mia prenotazione dal sistema. Mi reco nel ristorante all’ora indicata e il maleducatissimo proprietario, con il cellulare già pronto in mano, dice di avermi chiamato venerdì alle 13 per avere mia conferma della prenotazione, visto che l’intervallo di tempo 20:30 - 22:30, tra l’altro da me mai selezionato, era troppo ampio (la cena è a tempo? Parte il timer quando ti siedi al tavolo?) ma non avendo ricevuto nessuna risposta alla telefonata ha annullato la mia prenotazione. Mi dice quindi che per noi non c’è posto, se vogliamo dobbiamo attendere 40 minuti. Ad un mio accenno di protesta mi fa notare che loro hanno 180 clienti e non possono riprovare a chiamare se non hanno una risposta subito.. un SMS come avevano già fatto la volta precedente? Evidentemente no. Se non siete in grado di prendere prenotazioni non fatelo, oppure fatelo solo per telefono. Per fortuna a due passi la pizzeria Capuano’s ci ha fatto tornare il buon umore con una pizza favolosa, una cortesia impeccabile e con solo 20 minuti di attesa (loro non prendono prenotazioni ma almeno lo dichiarano...

These people were first who invited us to sit down for a meal, despite of many people already waiting ... And all places around were crowded!

Excellent, kind attitude to 2 people from Latvia!

Food was just perfect!!! Nothing to complain! Sooo tasty! We got much more we were expecting. Nice starter drinks, meal, good sparkling vine, special good bye drink etc...
