Lux Bar — Restaurant in Milan

If your primitive language is not Italian, their attitude towards you suddenly changes. We wanted to have a coffee to wait for the bus or train, but they did not want to give us the wifi password and did not even show us the location of the sockets. They said "we don't have a socket" but we looked under the table and saw that there was a socket. They looked at us as if to say "when eill you go?". they didn't make any direct racist remarks, but it was clearly racist. Also unnecessary expensive and tourist trap. the only person there who was friendly to us was a waiter. I wonder if it would be different if I had an expensive dinner or spoke Italian? maybe then you wouldn't have spared us a smiling face and half an hour of internet.

Called in while waiting for the airport bus Sunday afternoon, contray to other reviews we found the service pleasant enough and at no point felt like we weren't wanted there. Prices felt about average for the city, we got a pasta dish, a cheese and ham toastie and 2 beers for around £24, not scam level by any means. Atmosphere felt fine, could seem a little dated on the decor but you could equally say traditional. I suspect my pasta was microwaved as the sauce had partially split and there was crunchy bits of pasta. Could be oven cooked maybe? Just struggle to see how you end up with dry crunchy pasta bits from the cooking process without the use of a microwave.. all in all pleasant enough, wouldn't say service is bad, wouldn't say its over priced, but sadly would struggle to...

NON ANDATE IN QUESTO POSTO!oltre i Costi altissimi la maleducazione regna sovrana La signora alla cassa è di una maleducazione assurda, stavo parlando con il mio compagno da parte A BASSA VOCE per scegliere cosa prendere, io lo sapevo già ma lui, sempre a bassa voce, PERCIÒ AFFARI DEL TUTTO NOSTRI, dopo essere uscito dal bagno mi ha detto che non gli andava nulla. LEI, ha ascoltato tutto, e alzando la voce con fare strafottente DI FRONTE A TUTTI: ci ha sottolineato che in bagno costa due euro , di darle 2 euro se non dovevamo prendere nulla ( cosa del tutto sbagliata in quanto chiacchierando PER CONTO MIO con il mio fidanzato LONTANO da lei) professionalità zero, bagno sporchissimo che non vale la pena manco spendere un centesimo. Di risposta, in quanto voleva DUE EURO( IN NERO SENZA SCONTRINO,/FATTURA) le ho detto di evitare di ascoltare i nostri discorsi, e che comunque io dovevo già prendere qualcosa, se il mio ragazzo non le va nulla non paghiamo di certo 2€ non fatturati allo stato. LEI MI HA RISPOSTA MALISSIMO, e non vi dico altro. Spremuta 4€ . Molto buona, l’unica persona che è stata gentile e’ il signore dietro al banco(barista) che mi auguro non abbia una moglie del genere. In sostanza, se volete rimanere in intimità per parlare dei cavoli vostri non andate sennò la signora immediatamente ascolterà i vostri discorsi e alzerà la voce. Spero che non si permetta mai più a urlarmi di fronte alle persone....
