I used to think Starbucks was the best coffee chain in the world. But clearly, not every location lives up to that standard.
On the morning of July 14th, around 9:50 AM, I had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered — involving a blonde female staff member taking orders and a male staff member handing out drinks.
I believe they were being racist. They were kind and smiling to the customers before me, but when it was my turn — as an Asian customer — they were noticeably rude and unfriendly.
They acted shameless despite their own mistake. They gave me the wrong drink, and when I pointed it out, they didn’t even apologize. Instead, they handed over the correct drink with a rude attitude. They gave straws to the previous customers, but when I asked for one, they tossed it at me as if I didn’t deserve basic courtesy.
I understand that anyone can have a bad day and not be at their best. But being polite to some and rude to others based on race is blatant discrimination.
If anyone at Starbucks management sees this, I sincerely hope you take this seriously and ensure proper staff training in...
Read moreWell I brought my tumbler and I took Ice Americano venti size. The original price is 2,80€ and it supposed to be discounted 20% off because of using my tumbler. The thing is the staff(Giuly) did 0.2€ off and I paid without noticing the price mistake. Then I wondered if she calculated wrongly or it’s me who misunderstood the percentage of discounts. So I asked is it 10% off or 20%? Then she said 20%. I complained that it shouldn’t be just 20 cents off if u do 20% off from 2,80€. Then she said it’s a mathematical thing and treated me as if i was stupid or sth. I showed her how the price should be, which is 2,24€. But she didn’t listen to me at all and keep telling me “matematica”! Wow 😯 I was so shocked and felt terribly bad. It’s not because I payed more than that, but I was treated like a FOOL. As a Starbucks lover, It’s really a shame that they don’t offer good service...
Read moreAt the noon of December 1st 2019 I ordered a small cappuccino and when I noticed that it was weirdly taking too long to get it ready I asked (in Italian, although my language skills are not good) a barista named LORENZO whether he had gotten Fabrizio's order. This guy Lorenzo started behaving sarcastically, cynically and awkwardly by opening all the fridges and cupboards pretending to be looking for any Fabrizio and then replied "there's no Fabrizio". I've been a customer of Starbucks all over the world and wherever I go I'm used to being very well treated by their staff. This guy's disrespectful attitude is definitely far off Starbucks' standards. He should be doing another job rather than being a...
