after yesterday I will not come back there, pity because food is good and even pizza is at a good standard the problem is the service, guys try their best but it's unacceptable in a train station to wait that long for a pasta we were with some colleagues, we reserved the table and one of us didn't eat because her salad arrived 1 hour and a half after we sit! we were even willing to excuse them, for the millionth time, but then we received a very rude answer from the manager, inviting us not to come back because they gave him troubles! the troubles we gave were complaining for the slow service, that one person didn't eat and that we wanted to pay each one his meal with so many places to eat, the difference is only made by the way you threat the client, and I am sorry if somebody still...
Read moreAs soon I entered this place and tried to approach the sitting, a staff member come and kinda interrupt. I asked her that I'm looking for vegetarian menu and she showed me the menu at the counter near the entrance.
I checked the menu and ordered a Margarita del pizzaiolo. After payment, cashier at the counter asked me to wait at the entrance and I was like what!! I told her that I am here for dine in. Her exact words: "if you have to sit and eat here, pay €2.5 more".
When I asked the reason for €2.5, she told that €2.5 is the service charge to sit there.
I opted for take away. When I checked the menu, service charge is not mentioned anywhere.
Now I'm having this soggy Margarita del pizzaiolo sitting opposite Milan Central Station and B&B hotels.
They are following the ill business practices. Why would you not inform the customer about the service charges beforehand taking the order and payment?
Why would you ask a customer to wait at the entrance without asking for their preference?
Staff behavior was cold and most probably judgy. As a tourist in Milan, I would not recommend this food chain to anyone. Avoid until you have some compulsion.
They are definitely not into food industry, hospitality is not...
Read moreI have been in Italy for 10 days, this was by far the worst pizza place.
Undercooked pizza, tasted stodgy and made my stomach feel uncomfortable. It was also quite dry and tasteless.
The staff were lazy and customer service was poor. other than the young lady serving drinks and the lady serving the others were looking at phones, sitting watching others do the work and generally customer service was horrendous.
Plate taken from table before both diners had finished eating. Then other plate left for quite some time. No check we were ok with the food. No offer of dessert
The menu QR codes in different languages on the table didn’t include the menus and were pretty useless.
No allergen information on menus. Menus didn’t match and we’re not consistent.
On top of this 2 pizzas and 2 drinks cost €40 Of which a coke was €5 In addition to this they apply a further €5 service charge to add further insult.
I would recommend a manager at Rosso pomodoro focusing on food quality, roles of the team, customer service and reviewing cleanliness of the place as a whole.
The standards here are extremely low even for a restaurant in a...
