Amazing. 3/20/25 reservation.

After a longgg day of shopping and ALOT of walking this was the perfect way to end the day. We walked over from sant andrea as we were too tired to go back to the hotel to change. and they accepted us a half hour early. Which was really nice.

Food was amazing so tasty and fresh! The way they prepared the oxtail was so unique compared to how I’m accustomed to eating it(Caribbean). It was so light and went perfectly with the risotto which I don’t even like risotto and I truly enjoyed the dish. The carbonara experience was fantastic! Even the bread at the table was so delicious. Max is so kind and friendly and I’m sure he was tired but was so welcoming to every single guest.

We were enamored with the head chef in the back. As he watched so diligently to make sure each dish came out perfectly. It was really fascinating to observe how much attention to detail the team puts into their work for the customer experience. And it was really appreciated.

Lastly, the dessert we ordered the tiramimax which was also great. The cream was honestly to die for. so delicious. And the young man who prepared it for us was a sweetheart. Our waiter was amazing as well.

We ended up ordering a second bottle of wine and more cocktails and ended up being there from 7-11pm. With no regrets! Lol such a good time(the music was fantastic as well) and our best dining experience for our whole trip. And we ate at really great restaurants the whole trip but max’s was really unique and special.

Thank you Max and team! you now have friends in NYC. Maybe one day there can be a nyc location...

I recently had the chance to dine at this charming spot in Milan, and overall, it was a memorable experience—mostly for the right reasons.

First off, the atmosphere is absolutely fantastic. Warm lighting, tasteful décor, and a lively but relaxed vibe make it a great place to unwind, whether you’re with friends or on a date. The staff were welcoming and attentive without being overbearing, adding to the inviting ambiance.

The appetizers were the true highlight of the evening. The fried burrata, in particular, was a standout—perfectly crispy on the outside with that rich, creamy center that just melts in your mouth. It’s the kind of dish you’d come back for again and again.

Unfortunately, the main course didn’t live up to the promise of the starters. I ordered the fusilloni pasta, and it was a real letdown. The texture was off—either overcooked or undercooked (hard to tell)—and the sauce lacked depth and seasoning. It felt like an afterthought compared to the care put into the appetizers.

All in all, I’d recommend this place for drinks and small plates. Come for the atmosphere, stay for the starters—but maybe skip the pasta. With a few adjustments to the main courses, this could easily become one of my favorite...

A non-conventional experience, for the Italian standards. It's pretty common in the UK to welcome the reservation and keep them at the bar if they have to wait for a table, but in Italy this is pretty uncommon. So, well done into bringing this kind of customer handling in a restaurant. About Max, he is wonderful, very caring about the customers and the people around. He carries on all the requests from customers like photos, videos, autographs and I have also seen a voice message sent to a friend of one of the guests. I am very happy to see that and besides the quality of the food, excellent, it is nice to see such a conviviality in a restaurant in a bit city like Milan. The staff was very helpful and caring too, plus I saw many smiles on their faces, and this helps a lot to have a good vibe about the place. So, I wish much more growth to the businesses and please don't complain if Max is not present, he is a human like us with a family and businesses to attend, so check if he is there before ordering the carbonara show, that despite the show being very "Roman" ( I mean intense in flavour and keep your...
