Honest food in this Osteria, it tasted great with good portions. We had crostini con Gorgonzola (yum), tagliere di affettati (really good), ossobuco, brasato and tartar di Piemontese (all very homely/comfy food). Ambience is cute, relaxed and not noisy at all. Service was also good, they speak a good English, they have English menus and they served us promptly. We booked on a Friday night and the restaurant was fully booked all evening, some people were sent away as no tables were available. The place is small, and table started to be available again near 9pm.

Was good, but nothing incredibly wow. Portions are fine, variety also but it miss a bit in taste. Polenta was good but you tasted only the truffle, lardo was not tasty and missed in salt. The dessert was brought to table too quick and was not finished to cooked ( chocolate cake with warm heart), it was all creamy, there was not fondue heart let’s say, the taste was good but was not really how supposed to. The tagliolini with ragù were really good and the wine as well. Service was excellent, the guy really friendly. But for the price not sure it was worth

Best Ossobuco i‘ve ever had in my life, the taste and the meat was incredible! The midollo was sooo tasty! We came 2 times in one week because we had to have the Ossobuco one more time before leaving! The tiramisu also won the first place for me and it is homemade! Hands down to the service as well, everyone has been super friendly both times we came, this place is definitely a staple destination whenever we are back in Milan again!!!

I ordered a cotoletta which literally had no taste. It was my second time in six years - I swear - not to be able to finish a dish! Which I honestly told the waiter excusing myself. The dish was hardly touched. He proposed to me to CHANGE the dish. Change meaning CHANGE. Which I did ordering on purpose (!) another dish of the same price of 30€ not to offend the restaurant.

When we went to pay the bill, first we were given the POS and only then the bill: the cotoletta WAS INCLUDED. Not even with a discount: full price!

When I said it was an embarrassing joke, I was told that my food is still in the kitchen and if I want I can take it away (really?!?!???)

Worst restaurant experience ever in Milan!!!! Service and client orientation - below basic level.

Dear restaurant management, if you ask yourself now what is expected in this situation as per the client service etiquette if you want to prove your high standards, I will tell you what civilized locations do: either they remove fully the refused and CHANGED plate, or at least and worst case scenario they discount it!!! And moreover - ANY restaurant - would give honestly the bill to the client to check before making them pay blindly to make sure the client is aligned.

Please learn to work in a decent way. And it is not a matter of 30€ thrown away but a matter of your approach. Shame.

PS. The owner instead of learning from feedbacks provided by his clients writes rude responses here on Google. He advises not to teach him work - well, then maybe learn your staff to first give the BILL and then charge the payment!

PPS. FYI a worldwide tool to prove a poor client service is not to be able to address low reviews with...

We just went out for dinner there and were totally disappointed. The service was really poor! Both the young man and lady working there as waiters did not serve us friendly at all. They both were bored and it seemed that customers were more of a nuisance to them. Ordered water was just placed on the table without saying anything whilst walking by and talking to another table. The bottle of warm red wine was basically already opened before it arrived at the table (wine cork already stuck out half way) and no wish of enjoying it after pouring in. Wine prices are ridiculously high for the quality you get. Food served was just placed on the table without any wishes or friendliness. The noodles with white truffels tasted very mediocre and the portion was really small. (28 Euros) Filled raviolis was not more than average and a small portion too. Desert nothing special. All in all a total disappointment and a wasted...

Am Italian but I’ve been traveling the world for the past 8 years. In my journey I’ve been trying the best restaurants in cities like NY, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Berlin, London, Bogota and many more. ..Then I found Osteria dal Verme in Milan. Andrea welcomed us offering a 6* service. He walked us through the menu and gave recommendations that made this dinner one of the best I ever had.

Crostini with Burrata Risotto Milanese Patata lessa e grigliata Tortino al cioccolato e Torta di Pere con cioccolato bianco.

…Incredible! No more words..

I tried tortino al cioccolato everywhere in the world but this is probably the best I have ever had in my life.

Don’t hesitate, make your reservation and enjoy the best dinner in...
