Pandenus — Restaurant in Milan

Food quality and coffee is ok. Prices are a bit above average. Service is surely terrible! I've been there about 3 times in the last 6 months and poor service compromises the experience. The last time we went in for breakfast. After we sat at one table we were ignored by the waitresses for a considerable amount of time while the place was near empty. The table was not clean, also. I stood up and went to the counter to try to order, but only when it was my turn to be attended, the waitress of my table approached me to write my order while I was standing up! Esperienza da non ripetere, cercavamo un posto dove pranzare e dal menù esposto all’entrata sembrava indicato finché non sono arrivati i piatti. Abbiamo ordinato “ un’insalata ceasar” e un “ cous cous con dadolata di verdure” che prevedeva una salsa di agrumi (limone, arance,olio) peccato che era completamente privo di sapore a tal punto da far fatica a mangiarlo, così scegliamo semplicemente di lasciarlo. Inizialmente avevamo deciso di non prendere altro, ma dopo l’insistente offerta di proporci qualcos’altro accettiamo la proposta “veloce” della ragazza bruna responsabile di sala che consisteva in un avocado toast ( che alla fine erano davvero semplicemente due fette di pane con dell’avocado spalmato sopra). La stessa cameriera forse rendendosi conto che era una roba tristissima ci propone un po’ di salmone affumicato per insaporire il piatto (cosa che inizialmente abbiamo molto gradito). La sorpresa finale è arrivata al conto: avevamo chiesto un Cous Cous del costo di 10 euro, lo abbiamo lasciato senza polemiche, ci propongono un toast al salmone per recuperare ma alla fine ce lo fanno pagare 18 euro! Tolto che è vergognoso far pagare 18 euro due fette di pane con avocado e salmone, maggiormente vergognoso è far pagare di più un piatto offerto dal ristoratore per sopperire ad una loro mancanza iniziale!

Credo che comportamenti del genere ledono l’immagine del locale, meglio selezionare prima un personale adatto ad accogliere la clientela senza rifilargli brutte...
