Fradiavolo Pizzeria - Milano Sempione — Restaurant in Milan

My partner and I had dinner at Fradiavolo here in Milan last night, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a wonderful, lively atmosphere that just felt right. As for the food, the pizza was absolutely outstanding. The crust was perfectly baked – a delightful balance of crispy and chewy – and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, making every bite a real pleasure. It's clear they put a lot of care into what they do. Beyond the delicious meal, the service was genuinely friendly and efficient, adding to the overall enjoyment of our evening. We both agreed that Fradiavolo offers more than just great pizza; it provides a genuinely enjoyable dining experience. We had such a good time that we're already looking forward to our next visit. The namesake pizza of this restaurant, Pizza Fradiavolo, is incredible. If you are spending a day at the park, i highly recommend visiting this restaurant for lunch to try it. The Pizza Cotto is also very good, but doesn't quite reach the extremely high bar set by the Fradiavolo.

There is a piano inside the restaurant, and during our visit a talented customer played it beautifully, plus points to atmosphere for that. The terrace is nice with a wall of plants and lights.

The staff was nice and attentive. During our meal, a lot of new customers entered, causing all the waiters to be busy handling the new customers, slightly delaying us from asking for the dessert, however it was an understandable amount.

For the flavours of the Pizza Fradiavolo, I highly recommend...

Maybe I was just unlucky but the lunch there was a total disappointment. 1) we were waiting for 40 mins just for the waitress to take our order; 2) the staff were rude and ignorant, some didn't speak English and refused to take our order because of that; 3) pepperoni pizza with Thai sweet Chilli sauce???? (It is written honey in the menu, but tastes just like Thai sauce) very weird...4) we had 2year old with us and they took 2.5 eur for her as well; 5) I was already superpissed with the service, so didn't notice they had me pay for 2 Pepsi when we ordered only one; 6) toilets: it would be more hygienic and safe to pee on the street than in their WC.
