I want to warn people about this restaurant in Milan, where foreign customers are clearly treated with less respect than the local Italian neighbors.
While we were outside the restaurant, smoking a cigarette near the bench they provide for customers, a woman from the neighborhood walked by and violently pushed my friend, almost making her fall while she was holding a drink. She didn’t say a word, didn’t ask us to move, and didn’t even look back or apologize. It was a completely unprovoked physical aggression.
My friend, shocked, simply DEFENDED herself by throwing the drink she was holding at this woman. It wasn’t an attack — it was a reaction to being physically assaulted.
We then went back inside the restaurant, thinking we’d be safe there. But the same woman followed us inside, started yelling, tried to get physical again, and ended up smashing a glass of wine on the floor. And still, the restaurant allowed her to come in and do all of that.
What’s worse? The restaurant claimed that the woman “politely asked to pass,” which is a complete LIE. And when they showed us the security camera footage, they only showed the moment my friend threw her drink — they did not show the part where the woman pushed my friend violently. That’s manipulation, plain and simple.
It’s obvious that because we are foreigners, and she’s a local Italian neighbor, they chose to defend her instead of their actual paying customers. That’s discrimination. That’s racism.
We left feeling shocked, disrespected, and totally unsupported by the restaurant staff — even though we were the victims from the beginning.
If you’re not from the neighborhood, or if you’re a foreigner, don’t go to this restaurant. Your safety and your rights won’t...
Read moreExtremely shocked by the violence that happened at this restaurant! We were outside with friends, having a peaceful moment with a drink and a cigarette, when an older woman—clearly intoxicated and unstable—walked up to us, deliberately pushed one of my friends, and made her spill her cocktail. She didn’t apologize, didn’t even look back. It was an intentional act.
My friend, in shock, followed her and poured her drink on the woman. The woman ran back toward us aggressively, and we were genuinely scared. We rushed inside the restaurant—thinking it would be a safe space. But to our surprise, the staff let her in again, unsupervised. She approached us, lifted her hand as if to hit us, and smashed a wine glass on the table next to us. Still, no staff member intervened to protect or de-escalate.
Instead, we were shown a selective piece of the surveillance footage—only the part where my friend poured her drink—by someone from the kitchen (who wasn’t even present during the incident). She lectured us about how we were affecting the restaurant’s reputation, completely ignoring the initial assault by the woman. Her words were: “You should have just pushed her back, not poured a drink on her.” Seriously?
We were made to feel unsafe, unsupported, and judged. Not a single gesture of concern or kindness from the staff—not even a glass replaced. We were forced to leave, shaken. Later, we learned they called the police… only to end up hanging out in the back with that same woman and kissing her on the cheek.
This was surreal, upsetting, and completely unprofessional. A place that allows violence to happen and then sides with the aggressor is not a place I...
Read moreHuge disappointment. The waiter was pleasant but took very long even to get our drink order. The food was awful to the taste and very small! We ordered 8 plates and only 1 was good, the risotto. The shrimp plate we immediately sent back it was so bad. My sister took one bite and wouldn't eat it. We were still charged for it though! Complete waste of money 177.70 Euros. They even charged us for the bottle water that didn't come closed. I tasted like tap water they just filled the bottle with! Atmosphere was cozy and small. First place we stopped at in Milan and...
