Pizzeria Daniele — Restaurant in Milan

Absolutely fantastic find in Milan. We hadn’t really thought to look for pizza on our trip, but were recommended this place by another local business owner and WOW it did not disappoint. Definitely one of, if not the best, pizza my wife and I have ever had. We had the Margarita and the Siciliana and both were absolute perfection! Crisp, thin, full of flavor in all elements of the pizza. The fact that they carry Ichnusa Non Filtrata is also a major bonus. The espressos we finished the meal with were also the best we had during our week in the city. Carmella was fantastic at the front of the house and took a special interest in our small baby. We liked it so much we even took a picture with her! Hopefully we can visit the pizzerias owned by her two sons one day as well! In all, a great meal with great service and a warm, family atmosphere. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing. Everyone should try the pizza here! I’m so glad that after a round trip through Italy, I found this place. It’s exactly the kind of spot where you can enjoy the best pizza and truly feel the Italian spirit. Many thanks to Tiziana – she’s the best waitress ever! Tempo fa avevo fatto una buona recensione che devo drasticamente modificare. Sono arrivato alle 20.15. Locale semivuoto. Ordino 4 pizze da asporto. Pago e mi metto in attesa. Dopo 40 minuti che aspetto entrano 2 ragazzi che si siedono ad un tavolo. Dopo 5 minuti vedo che vengono serviti prontamente. Beati loro. Entro e chiedo come mai io aspetto da oltre 40 minuti e i ragazzi al tavolo sono stati serviti subito. La signora alla cassa mi dice che prima servono i tavoli e poi le pizze da asporto. Quindi teoricamente se continuano ad entrare persone tu la pizza la mangi alla chiusura del locale. Posto che i prezzi da asporto sono gli stessi che pagheresti seduto al tavolo, veramente non si capisce la logica sottostante a questa politica. Almeno te lo dicessero prima… Preciso che eravamo i soli ad aspettare, ben visibili dall’interno del locale, ma questo non ha impietosito la signora. Assolutamente sconsigliato se volete la pizza da asporto. Altrettanto se amate stare in un locale gradevole. La pizza é decente e non cara. Altro non c’è . Quadreria alle pareti da...
