Ristorante Piero e Pia — Restaurant in Milan

If you are in this area- check out this small local restaurant 💖💖💖 I was blown away by the hospitality of the woman serving us food! Lovely, kind, very welcoming approach. We got so many side dishes, it was wonderful experience. For starters we got small sandwiches with localy made mortadel sausage with truffles - wonderful taste and smell experience 🤩🤩🤩, followed with bread baked locally by the restaurant owners, it was amazing 👏 bread with walnuts and raisins. I loved it 😀 For the main course, we've got beef with porchini mushrooms. Again - really enjoyable experience. Washed everything down to the stomach with local beer 🍺. Food was really good, pasta with seafood had this fresh taste, mussels like from the sea, pasta cooked just right, maybe too salty but I didn’t mind much. Pizza with burrata was soft inside, thin crust, tasty, maybe a bit oily but still very good. Atmosphere kind of cozy, not loud, felt more local than tourist which I liked, even if tables a bit close. Service nice, waiter smiling, he even explained some dishes though looked a bit in rush, had blue shirt I remember. Prices not cheap but for Milano I think fair, quality shows, I saw other pastas on tables and already thought next...

Fantastic food, cozy atmosphere and very attentive and helpful service. We couldn’t dream about a better place for our last dinner in Milano before our early flight back to Norway. Thank you for giving us a wonderful last memory of our trip to Italy! Albina and...
