Rost Eat — Restaurant in Milan

Imagine this. You’re walking down the streets of Milan looking for something to eat. You’ve been shopping and walking all day so you’re starving. Every restaurant is 90 euros for a pasta and they give you a pathetically small portion of food. This was my experience, until I found Rest Eat. A small, hole in the wall restaurant. I knew it was gonna be good the second I saw that the menu was only Italian and no English. I ordered about 20 of the aristocinis, the liver ones were especially incredible. Then I had the sandwich with porchetta, cheese, and honey. I am not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best meals of my life. All that food and two bottles of wine was only about 25 euros. We placed a simple sandwich order at 9:32 p.m. there were clearly no large orders being handled people already finished eating and some groups arrived after us. We ordered directlt. At 9:45 p.m., we politely asked about our food, and the lady said it would be ready in 5 minutes. Meanwhile, several customers who ordered after us received their meals first. Our order didn’t even require cooking (the only hot appetizer that is like a bbq we ordered arrived at 9:47), and we could see for the rest of the orders the lady preparing everything right in front of us. If you are visiting Milan, then this place is a must go. It is casual, fun, local, affordable, and the food is to do die for. I was here on a Sunday night, and I totally integrated the place! Locals swamp this joint and you may want to learn a couple of basic words in Italian before you walk in. I obviously looked rather clueless when I walked in to order and then kindly handed me a English menu. I just had a bite of the best Panini in my life, so stop reading this review and get your ass...
