Rotonda Bistrò — Restaurant in Milan

Disappointed with my recent visit. The host told us all garden tables were reserved, but only gave us one after we said we’d leave—twice. I asked for a table with an umbrella, was told it was reserved, yet we got one after insisting. Oddly, over half the tables stayed empty for two hours, and only three had “reserved” signs when we arrived. It felt like they were saving the best spots for later guests.

We tried calling earlier to reserve but got no answer, even though it was during posted hours. Food was subpar—dry bread, badly cooked meat. Beautiful setting, but poorly managed. Only the male waiter provided good service.

I used to enjoy this place and brought a friend based on past visits in 2023 and 2024. Maybe speaking English this time made them assume I was just a tourist....

In data 24 aprile sono andato con un collega in quanto volevamo organizzare un aperitivo per 40 persone per metà maggio.

Già all'inizio hanno iniziato a tirarsela dicendo che avevano poche disponibilità perchè avevano "tante richieste"

Ci siamo accordati per farci fare un preventivo per una serata da tenersi il 22 maggio 2024, con promessa di farcelo avere entro venerdì 26 aprile.

NESSUNO SI E' FATTO PIU' SENTIRE

Siamo tornati il 2 maggio e il 3 maggio, e ogni volta ci hanno promesso di farci avere il preventivo "entro sera".

Per l'ennesima volta siamo andati oggi, e dopo non aver trovato nessuno abbiamo ricevuto una chiamata in cui ci dicevano che non ci avevano dato il preventivo perchè avevano troppe richieste da gestire e perchè facevano "solo eventi di un certo livello".

E noi che siamo, dei pezzenti?

Disorganizzati, maleducati e pretenziosi.

Ad ogni modo leggo dalle altre recensioni che anche il cibo non è granchè, quindi meglio perderli che trovarli.

SE PERO' VOLETE FARE UNA FIGURACCIA, è il posto che fa per voi.

Ps. La risposta denota la totale disorganizzazione del luogo, e dubito peraltro che tutte queste richieste siano reali.

Inoltre, più volte mi è stato promesso di dare il preventivo “entro sera” ma sono spariti.

Secondo loro questo è un atteggiamento RISPETTOSO del cliente che magari si è impegnato con altre persone per organizzare un evento e così finisce a fare una pessima figura? Comincino ad essere educati ed avere rispetto del Cliente…sempre che non falliscano, cosa più che probabile...

I was passing by and wanted to take some coffee, there were plenty tables empty, I took a table but staff told me no, it’s lunch time you can not sit at the terrace even for 10 minutes. Crazy, but there were other people taking just coffee. I understand if there are many people and they need to serve them lunch, but there were only 2 tables occupied.
