To whom it may concern,
I stayed at this Crowne plaza hotel in Milan city on the date of April 25th. I must say I have never been more disgusted , disappointed and distressed by anyone in my life. My sisters and I had just got back from a dinner keeping in mind it was late so we were very quiet respecting the other guests around us. We had gotten into our hotel room and started packing as we had an early morning the next day then all of a sudden we hear obnoxiously loud banging at our door we all panicked as it was 3 girl me and my two young sisters I went to the door to see who it was it was a scary looking man pacing back and forth swearing at us from outside the door then repeatedly banging on the door started screaming at us and then we opened the door confused as too what has brought this deranged and crazy man to us. We were so scared that we were going to be assaulted as he was very close to our faces and moving almost as if he was about to pounce at us. We felt so uncomfortable however if something was to have happened the saddest part is we wouldn’t have been been able to defend ourselves.
And the worst of the worse is when a staff member named FABRIZIO arrived he blamed us for not calling straight away when that clearly was not the first thought going through our minds we were in shock . A staff member of crown plaza or any hotel is someone who should be your safe space and someone you go to with your concerns whilst staying at the hotel. This horrible man FABRIZO was laughing in our faces and saying he didn’t care. He also didn’t help us call the police after the incident instead he was swearing at us and after telling us to come down after speak to him in the lobby.
I have never felt more disrespected by someone’s actions his name was FABRIZO bare in mind when we were trying to receive help for it he was trying to rub it in our face as if he didn’t care “ yeah this is my name tag do what you want”.
The whole night we had to barricade ourselves in the room as we were so frightened and anxious from what might have happened during that night after the altercation .we got no help from the staff nor a check up in the morning we used our suitcase and a chair from the room to put against the door as this crazy man had threatened us beforehand he was also staying right opposite our room . It never crossed the man who was working there FABRIZO to move his room or ours to create less tension instead he told us it’s our problem and to deal with it
I would also like to add the fact that the front desks excuse to what the man had done is that he was a regular therefore he meant no harm.??? How are we supposed to believe that when all we’ve done is been traumatised by him them using that as a excuse really did anger me as it means nothing for someone to be a regular you never know there intentions .
In the time we stayed at Crowne plaza Milan we experienced racism ,potential assault and sexism. Some kind advice is do not stay at this hotel if they don’t fire that horrible...
Read moreChecking out tomorrow and can’t wait. I will start with the positives, the hotel is in an amazing location with a station entrance literally right in front and an elevator to the station right next to its door. The staff generally “tried”, and the rooms were spacious and with no carpet, and very quiet. Also a great tub and good water pressure. Overall it seems like a good trade for the price. Until we started sleeping in the room with it’s hard beds and it started to smell like cigarettes and burning in a floor that was non smoking. We where on the 5th floor , three floors above from the alleged “smoking floor” the 2nd. At first we thought someone is smoking in a room when they are not supposed to and let the front desk know Two times. Then we thoughts maybe they are smoking in the stairs since we are close to it, it wasn’t it. We tried everything turn the AC off, wet towels on the floor near the door, open the windows to ventilate the room. And nothing ! The stench kept coming in ! Finally we were told you can’t control the AC from the room it seems to be a central AC. Other guest seems to have complained too because they sprayed some sort of incense perfume to mask it. But it just kept getting worse. They refused to move us rooms. When we had kids with us one of which is an infant. In the end we are ending our stay sick and congested with sinus inflammations. Im definitely sending an email to corporate to get my money back. Also FYI they charge for every extra adult in the room! And I’m not talking like paying for a third that I understand , no like they charged us extra for my husband, the second adult. So the rates you see online add 30 dollars per night for a second adult and that would be the actual price. Also be prepared for finding your bag rummaged thru, the cleaning staff went into our room even though we asked them not to and put out a sign to do not disturb. They went thru our stuff as I took pictures before I left. Lucky for us I brought my own lockbox to put my valuables in. But the comments here of theft inside the hotel are true. Very disappointing for a reputable brand hotel . But hey at least they didn’t...
Read moreStaying at the Crowne Plaza Milan was like finding an oasis of calm in the midst of a modern labyrinth. The hotel, nestled in the heart of a sleek business district, feels like a place for the movers and shakers of the world. The area itself might not stir the soul of a historian or a romantic wanderer — no cobblestones, no centuries-old facades — but it carries its own kind of charm, one of purpose and progress.
What truly makes this location work is the metro station tucked right beneath the hotel. It’s the golden ticket to everything Milan has to offer. With just a few stops, you’re whisked away to the city’s beating heart — its fashion, art, and culinary delights. For a solo traveler, this convenience is priceless.
The hotel itself? A sanctuary of modernity and comfort. My room was spacious and inviting, with a bed that seemed to welcome me like an old friend. However, not all was perfect: housekeeping fell a little short before my arrival. The room wasn’t as immaculate as it could have been, but this didn’t overshadow the overall experience. After all, perfection is rare, and a few flaws only highlight the strengths.
Speaking of strengths, the staff deserve their share of praise. The reception team, in particular, made an impression, and Miss Monica stood out with her genuine warmth and efficiency. She handled my check-in with a professionalism that felt effortless and left me feeling truly valued.
Breakfast each morning was a quiet joy, with fresh and varied options to suit every appetite. The hotel’s atmosphere — sleek and contemporary — offers just the right balance of sophistication and comfort. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind and plan your next adventure.
All in all, my solo retreat to Crowne Plaza Milan was a success. While the location may not inspire awe, the accessibility, service, and comfort more than make up for it. A solid 10/10 in my book, and a recommendation I give gladly to fellow travelers. Sometimes, it’s not about perfection, but about the sum of small, thoughtful details that make a...
