I love this place, and they have great beers and food.

but the staff seemed to be very confused.

We were waiting for the rest of our company but different waiters came over to ask for our order, at one point we felt obliged to order but new staff kept coming to take order, and when we told them we already ordered, they took away the menu so we had to ask again to keep the menu because we are waiting for other people. Every 5 minute, a staff come across the table to take away things from the table such as the tissue or a coaster or the glasses even if they were not fully empty. I understand they wanted to be nice or keeping things clean but it came off very disturbing. I kindly ask the place to keep it cooler and less obsessed with taking things from tables which people still are using/ eating/ drinking, and ask them not to have more than one waiter for each table, otherwise it is just very frustrating to tell 4 people you have not decided to order or you have...

Wow this is a must-visit pub! Unique vibe compared to most bars in the city as Milan can be more serious/fancy but the vibe here is all fun and the energy goes late into the evening with a great crowd and super friendly bartenders who speak solid English (and appreciate mediocre Italian). A few fridges with some special bottles that you likely can't find in many places in Italy and several great draft options from Italian craft breweries. Had an Italian Pilsner here from a brewery in the Italian Alps and it was truly delicious. If spirits/liquor is your thing, the selection is vast, including plenty of Italian specialties like grappa and limoncello as well as other digestifs/amaros. Also one of the few bars in the area we found...

due birre piccole (artigianali) una porzione di Nachos e 8 arrosticini di fegato sottilissimi che non ho finito perche troppo piccanti. totale €29. Alla richiesta di spiegazioni mi viene mostrato da un proprietario impermalito un menù dove é scritto che ogni arrosticino costa 1.50 euro (sono fatti a mano!) Peccato che al tavolo ci avessero portato solo un menu semplificato su singolo foglio. Peccato perché il posto é pure carino...ma 29 euro....vabbé che a Milano costa tutto di più...però. Cameriera cortese

Ps: (Aggiungo a seguito della sia squisita replica) Visto che il mio commento é penoso, sono uno sprovveduto, faccio commenti stupidi (e non devo rompervi le palle) di sicuro non se la prenderà così tanto se abbasso ad una stella. E mi dispiace perché il locale non é male ma lei é davvero scortese ed incapace di accettare la minima critica (certo lei non la condivide ma per definizione le critiche non piacciono). Ad onor del vero la mia non é l'unica critica negativa...(basta scorrere qualche recensione più in giù) più che altro sul menù semplificato)e sui prezzi (su tip advisor la sua media é molto più bassa...)

Di sicuro alle critiche negative lei risponde sempre nello stesso modo....

6 euro a birra ci sta. Ho specificato piccola per dire che era da 33cl ed era anche buona (mai detto il contrario). 5 euro per i nachos pure. 12 euro per 8 arrosticini da 25g... é soggettivo... Ma mi permetto una battuta: menomale che non fate i tortellini a mano...

La mia EDUCATA richiesta di spiegazioni all'uscita del locale ci stava...anche perché sullo scontrino c'era scritto "birre 29 euro" Bastava solo rispondere con cordialità. Che fossero abruzzesi e fatti a mano e che fosse un prodotto ricercato come faccio a capirlo se c'è solo il menù semplificato (poi davvero questa storia del menù semplificato non si può sentire) e la cameriera mi dice che sono rimasti 8 arrosticini di fegato???

Il problema non sono gli arrosticini, ne la birra ... ma dubito che abbia ancora capito, ma la sua risposta fa capire tante cose.

Però una cosa sia chiara. Io ho criticato, lei offende. Si dia una...
