We visited this restaurant on January 2nd when many other places were closed, so there was quite a queue outside. Thankfully, we didn’t have to wait long before being seated. The waitresses were very attentive and took the time to explain the different types of pasta. My two kids had a great time, especially my younger son, who isn’t very familiar with pasta but still found it absolutely delicious! The waitress mentioned that we could help ourselves to the parmesan cheese, which was free and available for everyone to take. My daughter eagerly went to get some parmesan cheese on her own, but she ended up making three trips because she wanted to help her dad and little brother. However, when she came back to her seat, she seemed upset. She told us that she overheard one of the chefs in the kitchen calling her a “greedy little child.” This completely ruined her mood, as she’s a huge cheese lover and didn’t even get enough for herself in the end. She was too embarrassed to go back for more, so she felt her pasta wasn’t as enjoyable as it could have been. The rest of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal, but this incident put a damper on my daughter’s experience. It’s unfortunate because everything else was perfect!

We had a delightful experience at Via Pasteria on Corso Italia in Milan! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. We enjoyed the Fusillo with Bolognese ragù, which was rich and flavorful, as well as the Spaghetto aglio, olio e peperoncino alla pescatora with Cantabrian anchovies and toasted thyme breadcrumbs—a perfect blend of taste and texture. For dessert, the traditional Tiramisu was a perfect sweet ending to our meal, complemented wonderfully by their aromatic coffee. Additionally, we appreciated the option to take away a kid's pasta, which was convenient for our family. Finding a trustworthy dining spot can be challenging, but Via Pasteria is a place you can visit with complete confidence. Overall, Via Pasteria offers authentic and satisfying Italian cuisine in the heart of Milan. Highly recommended! 5 stars

I visited this restaurant after seeing positive TikTok and Google reviews and also because it was advertised as halal friendly. Unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. First the customer service was poor. Most of the waiters seemed angry and unfriendly which made me feel uncomfortable. The lady who served me was nice but the rest were quite rude. Second the food was very underwhelming. I ordered the burrata the brewed cheddar with tomato and cheese on top and two vegetarian pastas (halal friendly no alcohol). None of the dishes were enjoyable the quality was very low for the price. We spent $123 AUD and it simply was not worth it. My wife could not even finish her pasta and we ended up going to a kebab shop afterwards to actually feel satisfied. Overall this was not a good experience. I strongly recommend not wasting your money here.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Via Pasteria in Milan, located at Corso Italia, 16. My experience was exceptional, particularly because they catered to my vegetarian preferences without compromising on flavor or quality.

I indulged in the Sardinian gnocchetto with Piennolo tomatoes from Vesuvius, Pienza pecorino, and basil. This dish was a delightful blend of fresh and vibrant ingredients, making each bite a memorable experience. The use of spelt flour was a nice touch, offering a wholesome and slightly nutty flavor. The fact that this dish is available with low gluten and can be made vegan upon request is a testament to their commitment to accommodating various dietary needs.

The tiramisu was simply sublime, striking the perfect balance of creamy and sweet, and leaving me thoroughly satisfied.

Moreover, the staff at Via Pasteria were incredibly friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Their warm and attentive service added a personal touch that truly made me feel welcome.

Overall, Via Pasteria provides a wonderful dining experience with friendly service and a menu that celebrates both traditional and innovative Italian cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone in Milan looking for delicious...
