Got tea you need to discuss with your bestie? A holiday plan to share for when we can travel? Or you want to eat your lunch while reading a book, the working Milanese buzzing around you? Bar Nicol is the place to do all of those things, in the back of the restaurant on a wooden table illuminated by sunlight softly streaming in through the palazzi in the piazza. The mood is chill, the sandwiches are an elevated version of the Italian panino, with unexpected delicious combinations (beetroot salmon and creamy cheese), and the desserts are homemade. You must order the apple crumble if it’s on the menu the day you go. Can’t wait to go back for the version aperitivo when Milan opens again...

We walked by and saw an open table, This was was a great decision to stop in for a drink. Luca suggested a Champagne that we didn’t know and it was a real treat. They really know coffee. High end coffee. Great filter options. It's a specialty coffee shop. He textured the micro foam for the cappuccinos perfectly.
