Saved our day trip to Milan. We were a bit short on time as we had a tour booked. We were also not anticipating the crowds at the duomo plaza. We live in a large touristy city, so we thought we could handle it. But we were stressed, and hungry. We wanted to go get lunch before our booking, but everything looked like either a tourist trap, or expensive fine dining. So we walked to a well rated pasta restaurant outside of the area to find a queue for lunch, and we had an hour to spare. Fortunately, bio pizza was a few doors away. Sat us down straight away with the menu. I got the pasta with anchovy, butter, and lemon breadcrumb sauce. My wife got gnocchi with pesto and crispy pancetta. Served very quickly, with no fuss. That anchovy pasta recipe might be one of my all time favourite recipes. Took a photo of the menu to make it at home. And my wife's lunch was very nice too with a rich, thick pesto, but mine was the star of the lunch. After the lunch we released we were 'hangry' and could tolerate the crowds much better. Our mood was lifted. Due to the fast service, we made our booking very comfortably too. And very well priced for the quality of the meal.
Pizza is in the name, absolutely go for the pasta...

I recently visited Bio Pizza at Super Regular Restaurante and had an overall disappointing experience. The service provided by the waiter (men)- short fat black hair - was horrible, with a rude and poor attitude, making the dining atmosphere unpleasant.
In terms of the food, the octopus was overcooked and not enjoyable. However, the mixed salad redeemed the meal, offering a refreshing and tasty option. Unfortunately, the four-cheese pizza failed to impress and couldn't compete with the quality of Kmart Pizza.
Overall, Bio Pizza fell short of expectations, primarily due to the unsatisfactory service and inconsistent...
Read moreAn elegant pizzeria and restaurant in Corso Italia, some 10 minutes walk from the Duomo. Bio Pizza uses all natural ingredients, making their pizzas really tasty and light. They also offer some first and second courses, but pizza is the must. You may choose among the traditional pizza with all its variants (I had a very good Napoli with anchovies) or thry the sfogliata (thanks to its no-yeast dough, it is great also at dinner). Atmosphere is really warm and welcoming, and the place is really quiet at dinner. They told me that at lunch is a bit crowdy because of its location close to the financial district. Coffee is good and prices...
