Loved the experience at Ad Maiora, from the moment I stepped through the door till we stepped out. The manager was very alert and single handedly served the room full of customers. Food was lovely - I did deduct a star coz of my plating of my main and dessert. And I realized the plating was different from other guests which looked better - maybe someone more junior did my dish. We had a tasting menu and I was very happy as all the dishes I fancied on the menu were part of the surprise menu! It already started with an amazing greeting from chef, a parmesan ball with sriracha, not something I would naturally combine but great taste. Followed by scallops and pancetta, then we had ‘noodles’ of squid, an amazing fish dish and a dessert of coconut cream with pineapple. All accompanied by wine for a very fair price!
