My wife and I had an unforgettable lunch at Emilia Bistro in Modena, thanks to the outstanding hospitality of Peppe and Giovanni. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcome and guided us through the menu with their expertise and enthusiasm.

A standout moment was when my wife discovered the traditional zampone dish—it instantly became one of her favorite foods! Additionally, the fiori di zucca were the best we’ve ever had, especially with Peppe’s homemade sauce, which elevated the dish to another level.

Every course was a delight, and the entire experience was made even more special by the warm and personal service from Peppe and Giovanni. We can’t wait to return to this...

I rarely leave reviews unless the place is either REALLY bad or REALLY good. Emilia Bistro belongs to the latter. Hands down. I ordered the beef ragu and a cheese pinse (pizza). They provided the bread and it was so tasty, such that we had to get another. What i also really loved was the balsamic vinegar which is probably one of the best i have ever had. We’ve found a spot in Emilia Bistro for Saturday night. Sitting outside and admiring ducal palace was already great. Waiter was friendly and professional. Food was really good and local.
