Pizza Niria — Restaurant in Modica

One the best pizza I've ever had. That being said, excluding food, I didn't enjoy the place at all.

You can't book a table for 2 people, so you need to fight for one and that means standing up as close as possible to the table that "you hope" will leave first/soon. That makes both you and the people at the table you're waiting to be vacated very uncorfotable.

Then, when you eventually seat, you'll see people standing (impatiently of course) for you to leave.

I the meantime you need to queue to order.

The waiter that was there was very friendly and helpful, although there was little he could do given the scarce organization of the business in general.

Pizza buonissima e cmq in zona di tipo napoletana non ne fanno. Auguro che presto per i giovani proprietari arrivi il tempo di fare il salto di qualità con un locale tradizionale al chiuso e con servizio ai tavoli. Aggiornamento estate 2024: così è stato. La pizzeria si è evoluta , ha cambiato sede e ha un servizio ai tavoli con personale attento e gentile. Bell'esempio d'imprenditoria: auguri! 12 settembre 2025: un fatto spiacevole successo alla mia tavola. Le 6 pizze ordinate arrivano non di tipo napoletano, cioè senza cornicione. Chiedo alla prima cameriera il motivo e dopo diversi secondi di riflessione va a chiedere dentro spiegazioni. Ritorna dicendo che dipende da come il pizzaiolo stende la pasta e quindi dal suo mood del momento: ridicolo, anche perché il panetto è diverso. Era tardi, per fame e prima che le pizze freddassero mangiamo. A fine pasto un'altra cameriera mi chiede esplicitamente come fosse andata e io chiedo anche a lei il perché ci siano arrivate quel tipo di pizze anche solo per capire se l'errore fosse magari nel software del tablet delle ordinazioni. La cameriera mi chiede se avessimo noi chiesto delle pizze a ruota di carro, ma io vado regolarmente da Niria proprio per la pizza di tipo napoletano. Alchè la cameriera, preferisco credere per sua inesperienza e non per altro, guardando il mio piatto vuoto afferma che evidentemente la pizza mi era piaciuta e quindi il problema non sussisteva (io ho mangiato per fame come le risposi prontamente, ma senza soddisfazione visto che ho ricevuto un prodotto diverso da quello richiesto). Infine quando sono andato alla cassa per pagare una terza signorina mi chiede nuovamente come fosse andata e io ripetendo la domanda per la terza volta ma ricevo un'ulteriore versione della storia: "Ci dispiace ma il pizzaiolo aveva finito i panetti della base napoletana e ne ha utilizzato degli altri.Possiamo offrire un caffè o amaro?" Per evitare il nervoso e non aumentare la mia amarezza non ho accettato né...
