My family and I had a very nice experience here from start to finish. We visited Modica for the annual chocolate festival in December and arrived via tour bus a bit early and hungry. After the 250-step walk up to a large church and a visit to a chocolate shop we inquired about a nice place to eat. One of the men at the chocolate shop said to wait a moment and then returned with a very nice lady who spoke excellent English and told us about their special set menu for the day as well as the type of locally produced food items they use (the ancient wheat for one) at their restaurant. She escorted us next door and upstairs where we chose from the set menu and all three of us were very happy with our choices. We each tried a different pasta item and my son also had a chicken cutlet with lemon. My ricotta ravioli with ragout sauce was the best I have ever had. Ever. The view from our table was really nice too. The bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. I highly recommend this restaurant and definitely...

A wonderfully welcoming and professional restaurant. Lovely greeting, well presented and virtuous staff with a lovely humour. A - rare for me - white wine that accompanied my ravioli with pistachio sauce perfectly while my partner had pasta a la Norma. The food was stunningly good and a great portion - just the right size for how filling it is. Definitely a place you must go to during the day to get great views of St.Pietro and in the evening … sorry we already ate the food before I took...
