XO — Restaurant in Molfetta

Not terrible, but also not amazing. If you’re vegetarian they will take out the meat from any dish, you just need to ask, however nothing on the menu is actually vegetarian. The menu is only in Italian and written on a chalk board, but they will translate for you if you ask. The view out the back is amazing. Staff are actually quite friendly, but like a lot of Italian staff seem disinterested or upset to serve you even when you’re being nice and trying your best to speak Italian. Don't go there! After 40mins waiting for my order I was told that someone forgot about my dish and there aren't half of the ingredients to make it now (burger). I wasn't offered anything else to choose from, had to watch others eating their meals. The super rude and ignorant waitress did not give me menu to choose something else and didn't even apologise for mistake. Da buoni amanti della cucina ittica, ci siamo lasciati guidare dalle foto e recensioni presenti su quest'app. Giunti sul posto, abbiamo notato i dettagli della location interna: moderna, dall'atmosfera intima, ma il nostro entusiasmo si è placato subito dopo aver visto il menù. Un menù disorganizzato, come il personale. Ognuno di loro era fuori a far nulla, ad aspettare chi o cosa, mentre la gente attendeva di ordinare o essere servita. Avevamo scelto di cenare e loro stentavano a crederci, forse per i prezzi troppo alti. Un solo panino ci è costato 15€ con contorno (1/4 di patata fritto), 6 patatine. Ma, noi amiamo la buona cucina e dove c'e qualita non contestiamo il prezzo. II fantomatico panino al polpo era un CAOS per le papille gustative: non si capiva nulla. Non era un misto di sapori che lasciavano un retrogusto ma un misto di sapori, dovuto ai tanti condimenti buttati li per caso. L'altro panino non era da meno, meno condito ma privo di sapore. II tonno fatto a pezzi enormi, ma tritato (poltiglia), immerso nella stracciatella con un solo fungo, per altro sott'olio... proprio NO! Ho solo un quesito per lo chef: Ma il sapore del pesce? Dov'e?. Non lo consigliamo, assolutamente. A meno che voi non vogliate solo bere, eppure pagare 6,50€ per una birra da 33 cl. Non ci pare molto...
