An absolutely fantastic culinary experience!

From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The appetizer – fig with burrata and capocollo – was a true explosion of flavor, perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. The red wine (UP Passione) was a dream – smooth, rich, and the perfect pairing for the meal.

Each course that followed was simply delightful: the gnocchi were tender and flavorful, the cavatelli delicately seasoned, the meatballs rich and satisfying, and the rabbit cooked to perfection. Every bite was a pleasure.

To top it all off, the tiramisu was delicious and a perfect sweet ending.

The service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely warm eventhough she was doing the service all by herself.

Nestled in the corner of the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele lies a cosy restaurant run by husband and wife Sergio and Anna. Sergio's menu consists of traditional puglian dishes cooked with love and passion you can taste in every bite. The beef tartare with Stracciatella and the octopus cavatelli were two dishes that really stood out to me, both of them simple but bursting with flavour. This gem of a restaurant was recommended to us by a local four years ago and we’ve been eating here every time we visit Monopoli since. I live in Copenhagen and have plenty of amazing restaurants to compare to and the truth is this restaurant should be featured in the Bib Gourmand guide as it’s so good!
