Tamborr - Pizza & Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Monopoli

Una grandissima delusione determinata da un enorme peggioramento nel tempo di questo posto. Capisco che ad agosto e, a maggior ragione, durante la settimana di ferragosto diventi tutto più difficile, compreso il garantire una qualità sufficiente dei prodotti e del servizio, ma c'è un limite a tutto. Partiamo dalla location: posizione fantastica, tavoli all'esterno... un caldo allucinante ed insopportabile. Non si possono mettere due ventilatori? Per non parlare della sauna che si fa all'interno per andare al bagno.

Vabbè, questo potrebbe essere anche trascurabile. Ma pagare 26€ per il "tagliere misto" in foto, assolutamente no. Quella cifra l'avrei spesa più che volentieri per un vero tagliere misto pugliese, ma presentarsi con qualche pezzo di ciccio bruciato, salumi di bassissima qualità, due mozzarelline insapori e formaggi esclusivamente stagionati neanche tipici (e di conseguenza salatissimi) perché probabilmente quelli che si conservano meglio in questo periodo di gran calca, beh... NO. Ritengo inaccettabile una proposta del genere anche a turisti, ovviamente. Io che sono di Monopoli, che conoscevo e apprezzavo anche questo locale nello specifico, ci sono rimasta particolarmente male. Questa non è la Puglia, ma la parte marcia di chi, pur di far numero, è disposto a rovinarsi la reputazione. Inutile dire che, purtroppo, non tornerò più qui.

Rispondo al titolare: complimenti per la cafonaggine. Lavorare a contatto col pubblico e dare risposte del genere (noto con piacere che anche altre recensioni con votazioni basse hanno ricevuto solo risposte piene di insulti e maleducazione) è già una grandissima dimostrazione. Non essere in grado di accettare le critiche costruttive o semplicemente il feedback di un cliente andato via INSODDISFATTO (dovrebbe interessarvi la soddisfazione dei clienti, o sbaglio) è alquanto penoso, vuol dire non avere neanche voglia di crescere. Non ho da aggiungere altro, avete fatto...

Perhaps I made the mistake of going back because I had had a good meal there, tonight the tuna tartare was strong fishy, and not very good at all.

Instead of serving buffalo mozzarella, they served buratta and that’s unfortunate.

They only have five or six main courses, and only one where the protein is not seafood. I had previously enjoy the steak there, and they were out of it, so I opted for the salmon, which was tragic and disappointing.

On my previous visit I had to Primitivo wine and it was very good. The Chardonnay by the glass was not very good at all.

In summary, I would not go back and would not recommend...

Really good selection of pizzas. We arrived before the lunch rush without a reservation so we were able to get a table easily. We were advised that since they were recently opened, it would take an additional 10mins of wait for our pizzas, which was fine. A little communication problem with the waiter - I was lucky that I spoke Italian, I could see how that could have gone downhill. Otherwise no complaints, pizza was delicious, and well priced.

Biggest draw for this place though is inevitably the view, absolutely...
