Belvedere Bar — Restaurant in Montalcino

Big disappointment. The food was bad, underdone, tasteless. I was there on July 31, 2022 with two friends and two children. Everyone complained about their dishes, even the truffle tagliatelle was weak and unpalatable. And the bruschetta we got was a total mistake. I would be ashamed to serve such a poor dish. My pici al ragu and a glass of poor quality wine, as it turned out after the first sip, cost almost 18 euros. It wasn't worth the price. Only the ribollita was fairly good. Oh and the staff was quick and friendly. In other restaurants it was also poor. Tuscan cuisine in general disappointed me and my friends very much. I don't know if the chefs stopped taking care of quality or taste, or maybe they decided that the tourist would eat everything anyway and then pay. Big, big...

This restaurant has a nice sitting area to enjoy in a day with good weather. The service was fast and the waiters were very alert. We had 2 different pizzas and a papardelle al ragu. Both the pizzas and the ragu were good but nothing outstanding. Besides the dishes we had a Bruschetta and soft drinks and we payed 50 euros total...
