This was a very disappointing experience. We were seated in a chamber what looked like a chapel basement, which felt not cosy at all. We ordered some bruschettas before hand for the table, they arrived with the dish but we had not received any plates. So they brought us some plates, but some of them has straight up loose dirt on them. In the meantime, several other families enteren the restaurant with small yelling children, which was just awful. We were not able to hear one another. When they arrived with the main course, they had not yet removed our plates from earlier, so we had to collect them in one pile ourselves and put them aside for them to pick up. One out of 8 people had not received her food yet but insisted we already started since our food would get cold otherwise. After 15 min of very slowly eating our increasingly colder food, we asked where the food of this last person was. They told us it was another 2 minutes. After finishing our meal 10 minutes later, it had finally arrived... Cold. It looked like the dish was prepared, they had just never brought it, so it had gotten cold. We returned the food, it took them another 15 minutes to cook the meal from scratch and finally it arrived hot. After all that, the food was mediocre. Above all that the staff came across like it was their first day on the job. We also felt like the last dish would be free since we had all the trouble with it, but no. Very poor experience, and not resembling the 4 stars it has on Google maps at all....

I recently visited this so-called "Italian" restaurant, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. This place is a total disgrace to Italian cuisine. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that cleanliness and quality were not on their priority list. The restaurant was filthy, with dirty tables, sticky floors, and a generally unhygienic atmosphere that made me question why I even bothered to sit down.
The food was nothing short of abysmal. They clearly use cheap, expired products that taste like they were bought from the discount section of a low-end supermarket. The pasta was overcooked and mushy, the sauces were bland, and everything lacked the fresh, authentic flavors that Italian food is known for. It was painfully obvious that the ingredients were not fresh, and some even tasted like they had gone bad.
The service was just as bad as the food. The waitstaff were rude, unprofessional, and seemed annoyed to be there. They messed up our order multiple times and acted like it was our fault. When we complained about the quality of the food, we were met with eye rolls and dismissive comments.
This restaurant deserves zero stars, but since that’s not an option, one star will have to do. Save your money and go somewhere—anywhere—else. This place is a total embarrassment to real Italian cuisine and should be avoided...

Von dem Moment an, als wir die Tür betraten, wurden wir von dem hochqualifizierten Personal herzlich willkommen geheißen. Die Atmosphäre war warm und einladend, und das Personal nahm sich Zeit, um jeden Gast persönlich kennenzulernen und seine Wünsche zu erfüllen.
Die Weinempfehlungen waren hervorragend und auf höchstem Niveau. Der Sommelier des Hauses besitzt ein tiefgreifendes Wissen über Weine und fand für jeden Geschmack den perfekten Tropfen.
Die Vorspeisenplatte war ein wahres Fest für die Sinne. Eine Vielzahl von köstlichen Antipasti, jedes einzelne perfekt zubereitet und aromatisch abgestimmt, ließ uns gespannt auf den nächsten Gang warten.
Bei den Hauptgängen wurden wir dann endgültig sprachlos. Die Qualität der Zutaten und die Zubereitung der Speisen waren schlichtweg atemberaubend. Das Fiorentina Steak war auf den Punkt gebraten, das Fleisch von höchster Qualität und zart wie Butter. Die Pasta war al dente gekocht und die Soßen waren vollmundig und geschmackvoll.
Als krönender Abschluss des Abends gab es Panna Cotta mit frischen Blaubeeren und Himbeeren ein himmlisches Dessert, das den perfekten Abschluss eines unvergesslichen Abends bildete.
Fazit: Das Ristorante Pizzeria San Giorgio hat unser allerhöchstes Lob und Respekt verdient. Es ist ein Ort, an dem man sich rundum wohlfühlt und kulinarisch verwöhnen lässt. Die Qualität der Speisen und des Service ist auf höchstem Niveau und die Atmosphäre ist warmherzig und einladend. Wir können dieses Restaurant ohne Einschränkung weiterempfehlen und sind uns sicher, dass es auch Sie begeistern wird.
