This hip and chic wine bar provides the perfect spot to Stop for a lunch , dinner or best of all for a glass of Brunello di Montalcino. Amazing young staff, always inviting friendly and knowledgable of the products and wines. La Sosta also has their very own Bio Shop and there you will find a variety of biological products and bio- dynamic wines. including other types from around the globe.
The food experience was a great variety of typical local pasta served with a rich lamb sauce. Pinci con ragu de angello with was full of flavour. A true tuscan dish. The second course was a sesame crust seared tuna. Truly exquisite! With great wine and mouth watering true Tuscan cuisine I would highly recommend visiting La Sosta.
The expeirence is truly unreal. you will have to go for yourself and see ! I CANT SAY ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT IT! We really enjoyed everything from the food wine and staff. Great fun. We WILL RETURN.

Read moreIf your aim is to sample the world famous Brunello di Montalcino presented by excellent, knowledgeable and friendly service in a beautiful surrounding. Look no further than La Sosta Bar. We had our choice of tables on the well shaded terrace. The views were stunning. Our host steered us to the perfect program of tastings. Our food choices satisfied our palettes. The assistant waiter was very attentive anticipating our needs well. The "star" of our visit was sommelier Flavio, a phenom that captivated us with his personality, knowledge and showmanship. We sampled eight wines. Flavio made it an engaging challenge. We left feeling transported. We truly experienced these world class wines. Readers of this review take note. Meeting people like Flavio is why we love traveling. I am certain this city is full of passionate advocates. We are lucky to have met one of them today. I highly recommend a visit to...

The tasting would have cost 25 euro’s, but we bought some wine to ship home. So Emilio covered both our tastings, an appetizer we ordered, and gave us two bottles that we had tasted from to take home. I couldn’t recommend...
