Excellent lunch, food and service. The handmade tortelli and spaghetti with arselle (small clams) were superb. The salt covered baked fish was also top quality. Gran delusione!Avevamo un bel ricordo di questo ristorante, uno dei più noti a Montecatini, non solo per la qualità della materia prima ma anche per la simpatia e professionalità del proprietario e del suo staff. Non so cosa sia accaduto ma la qualità e la preparazione dei piatti non è più la stessa e non giustifica i prezzi, ben al di sopra dell’offerta. A partire dal plateau royal di crudo (consigliata al posto della versione petit) poca varietà e gamberi ai quali non erano state rimosse le budella (gusti a parte, non è piacevole nel crudo). Abbiamo proseguito con un baccalà alquanto stopposo e con una frittura di pesce talmente gommosa e pesante che non sono riuscita a mangiare. Avrei fatto qualche foto ma gli impiattamenti avevano ben poco di gourmet. Niente da dire sull’insalata di ovuli condita al tavolo..molto buona. Tiramisù deludente😞! Dulcis in fundo, Ci siamo ritrovati sul conto una porzione in più di crudo mai ordinato ma purtroppo, ce ne siamo accorti troppo tardi. Il ristorante aveva già chiuso.
