The horrible impolite and uncultured Russian-speaking woman at the counter on September 25 2018 wouldn’t sell us the one-day ticket for 15€ (which is perfectly legitimate since the price is there on the board and on the website) without the appointment with a local doctor worth 60€. Sorry, what?..
We came for a full week last time and had doctors appointment last year, so we already have all the doctors recommendations in hand (which the woman knew since she found out last name is the database with the details of the last appointment). Regardless, she refused to sell us the day tickets and literally said: “Go away if you don’t like our rules”. These “rules” of hers aren’t spelled anywhere on official website by the way. When we came back the next time she told us to go away as soon as she saw us! DISGUSTING service! We’ve been coming to this place for years and loved it, but this one woman at the counter ruined our holiday! Dear Tetuccio Terme management, please, do something about the extremely rude service your employees are providing! I’m sure the woman thought that by insulting customers and forcing them to buy needless doctor’s appointment for a one day visit she is helping you to get more money. Yet, in fact, she is bringing you both short-term and long-term losses. Each of us in our family was going to pay you 15€ every day, but we couldn’t because of that woman, who wouldn’t sell the ticket. We’ve been coming for a few weeks every year for the past 5 years paying for the Tetuccio Terme visits daily, do you think we will come again? Will your other customers come again? Do you think other people wouldn’t mind the shockingly impolite staff? When you see a dive in your revenues - please, think about what it means. Businesses think it’s the competitor who harms their business, but often enough it is some impolite woman at the counter, who doesn’t cost you much in terms of her pay, but who will cost you A LOT by ruling your clients away. That Russian-speaking woman told us to go to other terms if we don’t like her rules. Maybe we should. Maybe that’s what many people will be doing until you hire professional and...

Read moreStunning lost-in-time neo Roman architecture with crumbling buildings. The baths have been sealed/covered up since the 1989s so no more terme/spa facilities unfortunately. You can visit the buildings however. 6 Euro entry fee per person to visit. Not a problem. But very much lacking in kindness. You can sample the therapeutic water if you are local or if the unfriendly lady at the desk likes you. If not you are out of luck. A couple of wealthy people in front of me got cups. But most people didn’t. —- The building, built to a design by the architect Gaspero Maria Paoletti between 1779-1781, was characterized by an ashlar portal of great scenographic effect. In 1916 the Florentine architect Ugo Giovannozzi presented a renovation project for the entire complex based on the concept of the Roman baths. It was...
