Bruschetta alla pomodori was ok, the Cozze was average, nothing special but low key ok. The spaghetti vongole were very good. Pasta on point, tasty can’t complain about anything. What is a no go is the staff. The lady was the only friendly person there. We had a misunderstanding. There is a tall. Guy low-key jacked up, as already written in other reviews, who is arrogant and has an attitude problem. The other staff are also not friendly or welcoming at all. I got the wrong food and was raising my hand to catch his attention, which I did. But he was in the middle of the street and was like showing me with his head to speak to him. At no intention to scream over the street, so I ask him, with a hand gesture, to come here to my table. That was obviously too much to ask. He came bothered and unwillingly to the table. The conversation was alike. I didn’t get the food I ordered. If they would have nicely ask if I’m nonetheless OK with it I would’ve taken it, but not with his attitude. Then the guy came who took the order and claimed I had ordered it. No, I didn’t! I don’t understand: if you hate dealing with other people make a back office job! As already pointed out in other comments: Whoever picked the crew has no clue about people. Not even a “good bye” after paying and thanking them. Only the “welcoming lady” was nice. The location has outside tables on the street and scooter going up and down constantly. This is also a problem for a lot of other places put it makes it very uncomfortable to sit because...
Read moreStopped here with a friend today as it looked busy and i saw food on others tables and it looked nice. In fact turned to be a total disappointment! They had a Daily special, which you cud choose. Either local Naples fried snacks + spritzer for 10eu, or platter of seafood + spritzer for 12.5 eu. Though it as a good deal. So we asked for two of seafood. They brought us all on one platter and we assumed that maybe they didnt understand and thought we wanna share one. As portion was very small (literally 5 small shrimps, two small sticks of calamaries and a bunch of small fried fish) which would be enough for ONE but definitely not for two. We decided not to ask for second one as it was ok. Imagine our surprise when they asked us to pay 25eu total, instead of only 12.5eu, stating that this portion was for two and that we ordered only seafood (not even sure what that suppose to mean)!!!??? I said immediately that you are tricking us and this portion was way too small for two and we are not paying this money! Guy (the only one who spoke Eng) tried to convince us but i kept saying that its too small for two. Then he quite quickly said " Its ok, you can give me only 20eu then"! He agreed very fast knowing that he fooled us. If i wud have read the reviews before, i wud have never stopped at this place! Try to avoid it as there are many others with much better food and service! Unfortunately many people dont know that and they are, like us, just passing by and grabbing a seat. A...
Read moreAvoid the scam! I was in the evening time. The waitress proposed to me pizza but I didn't want it and asked if they have pasta with meat because. She proposed Pasta alla Genovese. I was waiting for 30 minutes. They brought me just pasta with fried onion but without meat. When I said that ordered Pasta alla Genovese and it has to have meat waitress said to me that can give meat separately. In 10 minutes she brought me a plate with big slices of beef (like in goulash) with a little bit of sauce. Some slices were a little bit cold inside so it wasn't freshly cooked. The most annoying thing is that they charged me 12+1 = 13 euro! When I told the waitress that the normal price even in the old town is 8-10 euro (I saw late in one pasta place for 6 euro), she answered that I had 2 separate dishes: the 1st one and the main one. She couldn't show me the menu. Later she gave the bill with 1 position Genovese there for 12 eur. It's so pity I was very upset so did not take a picture of that "Pasta alla...
