Ecce Homo Bar Napoli — Restaurant in Naples

We've been in Naples for several days and this is the worst bar with the most unfriendly staff that we have experienced. We are also convinced one of the owners spoke to the barman to put the price up when he realised we were not locals. The bar was quite busy but the owners could easily have provided a better service if they concentrated on customers rather than their own drinks. We were €20 for 1 small beer and 1 white wine in plastic cups as there were no tables and we were abrubtly refused glasses. However locals were standing drinking from glasses. My partner was refused a gin as there were apparently no mixers. The keg finished on the first beer I asked for and you would have thought it was my fault to cause such an inconvenience. The football was on the TV and that was the only reason we stayed. However we went to the supermarket and topped up our drinks with nicer colder drinks whilst continuing to watch the football so we got some value for money. We left at half time and went to vai mo bar which was really well run and friendly with a better atmosphere. Do not give Ecce Homo...

My boyfriend (Ben) and I recently had the pleasure of visiting this AWESOME bar, and I can confidently say it was an experience to remember! From the moment we stumbled upon the bar, we were surrounded by a fun and chill atmosphere, setting the perfect evening tone.

Mario and Giovanni, the fantastic owners, were the epitome of hospitality. Their warm welcome and genuine enthusiasm made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. They took the time to chat with us, share stories, and make excellent drinks that did not disappoint.

The bar regulars were another highlight of our visit. They immediately made us feel right at home, inviting us into their conversations and sharing laughs as if we had been friends for years. It's rare to find a place where the sense of community is so palpable, and it truly enhanced our overall experience.
