I celebrated my birthday here with my boyfriend during our holiday in Naples. We reserved for the All You Can Eat plan through their Facebook page by using Messenger. The staff sent us their best English speaking server, who was attentive and courteous for our whole visit. While 1h20m may seem restrictive for some, we found it to be enough time to eat and have a beer comfortably. I managed to eat something like 36 pieces of fish/sushi during the time limit, so I felt like the value was good.
Advice + recommendations for future visitors: The menu has something like 55 items. Personally, I looked at the menu online in advance to have some general idea of what I wanted to try. The Takoyaki, Samba Rolls, Hachi Experience, and the Carpaccio Special were my favorite things we tried. The Takoyaki in particular seemed to be made in house and were probably the best I’ve had.
All in all my partner and I had around 7 plates and shared a Sapporo for 34€ each.
Some commenters mentioned the owner harassing people in person for reviews, but we didn’t really have any encounter with him other than him checking in on us.
My only suggestion is that you cut some of the redundant/bizarre rolls (mango, yogurt sauce, teriyaki sauce/ 3-4 types of Philadelphia roll) and add some more non-fish options — a nice Tonkotsu ramen or a chicken katsu curry would be great additions to the menu. My partner doesn’t particularly like seafood and went through most of your options by the end of...
Read morewhere to start... food was not bad but ok. ordered the 40 piece platter, some interesting rolls in it but vast majority was regular tuna and salmon.. that was about 58 euros. miso soup ok (huge size for a miso soup..) too but had I been blindfolded I would have guessed it was italian veggie broth. prosecco was very good, glass of falanghina less so. more importantly as second table to check in on their first dinner shift I got a table right in the highway path between the kitchen and the main room with waiters and bus boys racing efficiently back and forth. had to carefully keep my right arm and elbow well within my tight space not to incur any trouble... on the other side of the "highway path " a local dude showing how macho he was to his girl kept his seat well in that path so to push racers closer to me... no one told that guy "yo dude slide in ..". I courteously complained to a waiter whose polite answer was: " I know but they...(who s they...) decide the layout of tables" 🙄 they won 2021 best resto in italy in the category of not too expensive ones...mhmh... few days earlier I tried another resto in that top 10...that one deserved in my opinion a...better...
Read moreI came back here with my spouse after a pause of at least a couple of years and… goodness I was shocked by the terrible dip in quality the food had. Dishes were simple, weakly flavored, uninspiring. Portions were big, very big, as if meant to fill you up and not even try to be subtle about it, fried dishes and tempura based ones were the most common ones. Their signature dish - first photo - Hachi Experience, correctly described the experience we had… common, uninspired, and almost tasteless. I’m not one to leave a bad reviews, you can see from my profile, I tend to not wanting to hurt anybody’s feeling, so I usually don’t leave a review at all if I would have only done damage, but in this case, judging the price, the restrictions you’ll find when you book a meal, and the surreal dip in quality it has over the years, I found myself unable to hold back. I’m sorry, but this will be the last time...
