Fun place. Friends picked up the tab so I can’t comment on pricing other than water which was typical of other establishments at €1. Great place for family outing or for spending time with friends during the evening. The chocolate covered croissant filled with white chocolate was very good. Lack of napkins left us using paper. Large crowd tells me it’s a local favorite. Goyo GTO recommends. Please consider giving this review a thumbs up (like). Happy travels.

Il Ciottolo è ormai un must per i ragazzi della zona che vogliono prendersi qualcosa di dolce... Eppure non mi spiego perché sia così famoso, a noi non è proprio piaciuto! Abbiamo provato i dolci, in particolare : - cornetto kinder bueno che era uguale ai restanti con la sola aggiunta di un topping in superficie e di 1 (UNA!) barretta al suo interno. Del resto sono tutti farciti con crema B&W senza dare modo di distinguerli; - semifreddo oreo, altro non è che una stratificazione di panna e biscotti oreo da disgusto per la troppa dolcezza della panna. Per giunta il vassoio da dove è stato pescato il semifreddo, non era riposto in frigo ed il tutto era a temperatura ambiente. Per nostra fortuna almeno, le cose non sono state prese dalla vetrina con l'esposizione di dolce, salato ed insetti in bella vista. Per queste due cosette ed una bottiglietta d'acqua 9€. Non comprendo come la popolazione locale possa ancora andarci, Napoli merita di più! Il nome c'è, manca l'impegno.

Condivido esperienza presso rinomato bar notturno (e non solo) di Napoli. Servizio organizzato ed efficiente, personale attivo ed attento, giusto riconoscere questo in primis. Ciò che si vede al banco è il "prototipo", poi il locale offre tutto bello caldo preparato sul momento: ho apprezzato anche questo. Veniamo a ciò che non mi è piaciuto: vedo in vetrina una serie di waffle, ognuno farcito con alcuni dei moltissimo toppings che offre il Ciottolo. Decido di provarne uno con la convinzione di poter successivamente scegliere uno dei tanti toppings. Mi sposto al carretto rosso dove preparano waffle e crepes al momento, e l'addetto mi riferisce che i gusti sono: Nutella, bianco e Pinguì...Mi sono sentito un po' preso in giro, ecco, ma ho dovuto accontentarmi del Pinguì (si vede in foto). Era tutto molto buono, ma questo tipo di comportamenti fa scendere inevitabilmente i punteggi. Il Waffle al Pinguì, insomma, lo posso mangiare anche altrove. 4 stelle generose.

Our Airbnb was in the same apartment block as Il Ciottolo, and let me tell you: It was AMAZING for late night snacks. We would adventure the Amalfi coast during the day, and then come here every evening for food & drinks. The atmosphere is great, and so were the staff. Most of them did not speak english very well, but we managed to communicate well anyways. Definitely recommend this place if you are travelling...

Absolutely a local favorite that was near to our B&B. The area around this part of Napoli maybe a little rough around the edges but if you take the adventure to go there do so, you will not be disappointed. The pastries, paninis and deserts will blow you away. They open at 7 pm and go all night to 6 am. Bring you translation app because they cater to mostly...
