🌟 La Masardona in Naples is a culinary gem that offers an authentic taste of Neapolitan tradition! 🍕

From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warmth and hospitality stood out. Despite the bustling crowd opting for takeout, they graciously opened the cozy seating area just for me, ensuring a comfortable and personalized dining experience. 🪑💫

I indulged in their renowned pizza fritta, and it exceeded all expectations. The dough was light and airy, with a perfectly crisp exterior, encasing a flavorful filling that was both rich and satisfying. It’s evident why this establishment has been cherished since 1945.

The ambiance, combined with the delectable offerings and exceptional service, made my visit truly memorable. For anyone seeking genuine Neapolitan flavors and heartfelt hospitality, La Masardona is a...

Came here because I saw the good reviews. Unfortunately I had bad vibes the whole time. First the server brought my coke and I noticed mold growing on the rim of the bottle. I told our server and he then makes a gesture that indicates “what is the big deal?” I had marked the bottle so I could identify if when they replaced the bottle I would know if they just cleaned it off. Guess what? They brought the same bottle back “they cleaned the top” and then continued to hand it to me as he is pretending to “open”. I didn’t call the server out on this. I just didn’t drink the coke. The server later saw that I had not touched the bottle and he came with a fresh bottle and opened it in front of me. I think he knew that I knew that he tried to fool me. A place that tries to deceive their customers is not...

Cute spot by the sea front and service is ok. The concept is really cool and the way the pizzas are served is special. However, I felt the fried pizza was just a little tasteless and bland. I tried the “completa” which is meant to be there most popular, the whole thing was over powered by the ham and I couldn’t really get the toast of the cheeses coming through. Also, the dough didn’t taste of anything. I don’t know what I expected with a fried pizza to be honest and perhaps my expectations for it were too high.

I hope my review doesn’t put anyone off as this is just my personal experience and I believe people love this and I would...

Eating traditional Neapolitan food in Napoli is like being in culinary heaven. Its tradition with quality street food is something Neapolitans are known for and Antica Friggitoria Masardona is a fine example in cooking the ideal Pizza fritta. Situated in the center of Naples very near the Mercato zone, Masardona offers a variety of savory and sweet fried pizza. On this occasion I went for the Completa which has Provola, pomodoro, cicoli, ricotta, Pepe e Basilica. It looked massive and awesome on the plate and even better when I started to chew into it. Great staff and service knowing that they dish out high quality street food. A must visit

This was our first spot for lunch after landing in Naples. Convenient location near Piazza Garibaldi. The English menu will be handed to you at the till upon request (or if they recognise you as non-Italian speaking). We chose the small sized filled fried pizza - tomato and smoked provolone cheese. We opted for take out but it was difficult to eat as it was steaming hot and ended up being messy. I would recommend eating in if getting the filled version. This didn’t take away from the fact it was super tasty! Even though it was deep fried, there was no grease felt/tasted.
