Experience review - March 28, 2021. Food selection related to specialty: What we had: Sicilian and Margarita Quality of the food: excellent! He they literally make it in front of you! This place has been in business since 1964! Would I get the same dish again? Yes. Drink selection: beers and soft drinks only. Provides free appetizers (Amuse-bouches): no. Service: the place was empty when we got here so we experienced great service. Interior design: you don’t come here for an Instagram moment. Very basic. Exterior design: doesn’t have an outside. Ambiance: tables with chairs. That’s it! Cleanliness: clean! Value for money: two can share a pizza but why would you do that! Reservations recommended: no. Cool factor: read the history in the menu. Would I visit this place again?: no. Only because there are plenty out there. Would I recommend this place?: yes.

Took a day trip from Rome to Pompeii and found this place for pizza while stopping in Naples., about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Very authentic experience with excellent pizza. The older men running it did not seem to speak any English, but that is ok, they do offer an English menu which you can just point to what you want. Pizzas are very cheap at €4-5 per pie.

We stopped by and had a couple of pizzas for dinner. The margarita and the lasagna pizzas were delicious. The crust was a little crispy and also still soft at the same time. I don't know how that was exactly possible! Service was friendly and although the gentleman didn't speak English we all got along just fine!

I'm giving this pizzeria five stars because of the service given! Everywhere we went around Napoli everyone acted as if they did not want to serve us. They'd get annoyed easily when I spoke the little Italian I know, but this (what I assume is a family run pizzeria) family pizzeria were very welcoming! Their place is small and very clean! We were in Pompeii for the day and on our stopover in Naples we decided to call to an old friend we met in Ireland a year or so ago. He and his family own this place and it was worth the trip.
