Dreadful service....waited 45 mins to get order taken. Husband and son's wine came straight away.. ( i was taken aback that she assumed the wine was for me and my husband, and the lager for our son!) I waited and waited and waited for my glass of lager.... They were on their second glass of wine...and I wanted to leave....
A couple on the next table, who.hadartived after us, got their drinks straight away,..whilst I was still waiting.
Eventually the waitress was asked and after yet another wait, I got it.
The couple on the next table hot their meals
The hubby and son's pizzas were delivered and after a while I told them not to wait....
Eventually mine came and it looked awful. Burnt, no salami visible, an Almost non-existent topping...an oddshape.... I was told it was folded over and salami was inside. All I found Was a few slivers of dry cured ham....poor do!. The dough was soggy and most of the turnover filled with nothing, a smear or two of tomato coloured, tasteless and textureless stuff on the top and the middle was filled with unpleasant soft cheese.
I expected three cheeses, tomato and salami. My photos show the pizza as presented, less a couple of pieces cut ... no... TORN ... out, to sample (cutting not possible), and the second showing the burnt but soggy dough I did not want to eat.
The waitress asked if it was ok but she did not understand what I was saying, and the one who brought the bill asked again but did not wait for an answer.
Marked contrast in how long we had to wait for order taking and food serving.....against how quickly they presented the bill and collected theoney when we had finished.
To be fair, husband and son enjoyed...
Read moreThe atmosphere outside was fantastic. The guys at the door were friendly and lively. The pizza was nice but the service was terrible! The waitress was angry and rushed our order. She was irritated but she was very short with us which annoyed us. Due to her carelessness she drew on my friends top! She didn't even apologise! My friend gave her the benefit of the doubt. Since she was pissed off, she gave us the wrong drinks order. Waitress number two corrected the error. We had a starter and waitress number one brought us our cutlery but she didn't bother to distribute them and left them in a pill. Again, we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Waitress number three brought us our starters and plates. My plate wasn't clean. She changed it. While we were eating the had the TV on for ambience. We got our mains but they didn't seem bothered to take our starters so we had to help them with the mains so they could take the used plates. We still gave the benefit of the doubt until the switched of the TV. We asked them if the could turn on the TV and waitress number two made sarcastic comment "Oh! You are watching the TV!". At this point I became very angry. It was terrible service from the beginning! I understand the most important thing is that the food was good and the environment was hygienic but the pre-service, service and post-service were absolutely appalling! This pizzeria was quiet compared to the other ones! I guess I now know why.......the customer service! I wouldn't recommend it to any tourist or native! It was my first and my last time! If the service was improved it would be the best in town! I would be happy to help as I have customer...
Read moreFood good, service poor and after service terrible!
We stayed just around the corner and got a take away due to them having very good gluten free options for my wife. Now as far as the takeaway service goes it was ok. At best. A couple of nights later we went for an actual meal there. Again food was good, but service was pretty poor. No drinks offered initially and then you had to chase them down for a second (like they didn’t want to actually make money) obviously, no one asked if our food was ok or if we needed anything else, no final drinks or desserts were offered because again they are obviously not trying to make money. Fine. We went up the road to get some Gelato. Now unfortunately my daughter (10yrs old) had left her jumper there. It doesn’t matter that it was her new one for the birthday that we celebrated in Naples. What does matter is after returning to collect it (not even an hour after leaving), it had literally been thrown into a pile of bins down an alleyway. The waiter was pretty embarrassed to see me returning and suddenly he sends out the mute servant to deal with me. I was pretty taken back and they were packing up for the night but on the walk back to the apartment I really had to try to and figure out, how instead of just leaving inside to see if someone comes back in the morning you can just chuck a child’s jumper on the floor next to the bins. What sort of a failure of a human being behaves like that?! I’m aware that service in Naples is notoriously poor but this is disgraceful. You also have ‘Broccoli Rape’ on your menu.. so you probably want to...
