One of the best places to have a fried pizza. This place is really good on a lot of levels. Firstly, it's not far from the metro station, 10 mins of walk at most, if it's the weekend with crowded streets. Next to a small piazza, where you can also bring your boxed pizza and eat outside the restaurant. But you'd miss the interiors and the decor if you didn't dine-in. The seating is a large medieval cavern with stone pillars and fits all group sizes. The staff is really busy even on weekdays and you might have to wait a while to get your table. The food is the real pièce de résistance. The simple fried pizza with ricotta, mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and basil was sinful. I must warn the patrons that one fried pizza is usually enough for two people but sharing a pizza is frowned upon. Hence, we also ordered Crocche or breaded deep-fried mashed potatoes balls mixed with ham, chilli and cheese. These are a handful and big enough to become an evening snack by itself. Their prices are very modest and don't even feel like a dinner price. The staff might be pressed hard to serve all but they are super friendly and give good suggestions. Overall, a must visit and definitely a treat for sore eyes and hungry bellies.

The pizza I had was excellent (La Campagna) but things got a bit weird after I asked about dessert. I had seen Nutella pizza on the menu earlier so I asked about dessert ("dolci?") and the waiter told me "no"... Seemed odd, but maybe they ran out of everything or wanted to close soon, so I decided to accept the "no" & skip dessert. Then they put a cake in front of me and told me to try it. I took a bite, but I was really feeling like I wanted Nutella pizza, so a cold piece of ricotta tart wasn't appetizing to me at that time. Long story short, the cake did show up on the bill despite not ordering it, but they did remove it from the bill without too much resistance. It's a shame because the pizza was excellent & was almost a perfect experience until it became illogical over dessert.

One of the best places to enjoy a variety of Italian foods in Naples! We’ve visited many restaurants for pizza in Naples and this is one of the best we’ve been too. The staff were very kind and seemed more than pleased to have us there. It was very busy and full of local Italian families, which is always a great sign! We had to wait a few minutes for a table as we had not booked, which we were more than happy to do. The atmosphere was great, the food and wine was incredibly cheap and the food was delicious. We enjoyed pizza and fried dough balls and a bottle of wine. It was the biggest meal we had during our trip, but also the cheapest!!! Highly recommend, it has everything you want in a truly Italian experience.

The vegetarian and I were recommended this place by our hosts whilst in Napoli. There Are A Lot Of Pizza Restaurants In Naples. As a meat eater the choices were fairly easy. The vegetarian however, not so much. This was primarily due to the lack of understanding here that some cheese's are not suitable for vegetarian peeps. The look of total confusion from the waiter when asked whether or not the cheese was ok for veggies......came with a frown & a shrug "it's cheese!!" 🤔 Education needed. That said, the food was cheap €32 for two courses two drinks and 2 limoncello's was decent. Would go back but there are another 325 more pizza restaurants to try yet.

senza parole. ❤️💯

Love it Love it Love it!!!! This pizzeria was recommended to me by one of the locals, and i'm so glad that i gave it a shot. The place is so welcoming, at the entrance you see the chefs preparing the doughs for the pizzas, and the tables are downstairs. I tried the classical fried pizza and the Marinara Pizza, along with 2 fritture, one with pistachios and mortadella, and the other with porchetta. Make sure to also try the Margherita pizza, it's amazing. Big thumbs up!!! We also got the chance to meet the "filglia del presidente", which means "the daughter of the president", who in this case is the owner of the restaurant.
