We have been blessed with this authentic Neapolitan style “cuoppo” yet again! This is Street food of the highest quality and delivered with the highest standards of hygiene in mind. This is our place to go every single time we pay a visit to Naples. To top the true authenticity of real street food, you have the pleasantness and care given by Luigi and the staff. The photos are just an example of their ancient culinary art (pasta fritters made with traditional recipes - Nerano style & Genovese style) - one piece of advice.. do prepare to queue. They are based in “spaccanapoli” , one of the busiest streets of Naples and you might find hundreds of hungry people waiting for hrs to taste a true delicacy coupled with the astonishing architectural surroundings. We bought two E' MARE and one RE CHELE. There are some tables at the opposite side and we sat and ate our food there. The food was well cooked, in relatively big portions and tasty. However the fish cup was a little oily that day and it was a little unconvenient when you have to hold the paper cup. The staff was very polite and friendly to us. I think there could be some suggestions for improvement such us the use of disks for those who choose to sit on the tables and the possibility to add lemon juice to the sea food. EDIT: the mare cup had almost only calamari and alici and I expected more of the other fish described in menu

Was there ten minutes ago and despite being open with people sitting outside and the guy is still working, as I asked where to order, he said they are closed and they will open tomorrow at 11 AM. I believed him despite the official closing time on google maps is after 30 minutes from now at 20:30. I was walking down the street 10 minutes later and found him serving new customers with seafood cups, the same thing I wanted. Now I am wondering whether I wasn’t a good customer enough for him! Totally disappointed!

A little disappointed. My wife and I stopped there because we wanted to try fried mozzarella. We went there around 3 PM, which is when the crowd was gone. There was mozzarella already made, so the lady had to make for us on the spot. "Fantastic!" I thought to myself, "That's how you want to have them!" Too bad, that I was turned immediately afterwards, when I saw her coming back from the storage room with a back of premade frozen mozzarella. It was a white bag that looked a lot like the ones you can buy at the grocery store. I could not see the front of the bag, so I am not sure if it was a name brand product or something they make themselves beforehand. Stay away from this place!!! The owner is SO RUDE. We walked up to order and he told us in an angry voice that because his tables were full, that we had to come back in 10 minutes. He yelled and shooed us away. We did come back because we thought maybe we would give him a chance and we really wanted to try the fried mozzarella. My husband pointed to the menu to order (because he doesn’t speak Italian) and the owner got very upset and began yelling again and refused to serve us because we aren’t Italian. He doesn’t want to “deal with” people who aren’t native. Being in the heart of a tourist district, I’d say that’s a big problem!
