This place was recommended to us by The operators of La Nova Bed and Museum and it didn't disappoint. Be aware that from La Nova it's a good 20-minute walk up narrow streets and stairs to get there, but the walk is safe and it's well worth it for the views at the end. The restaurant forms part of a larger hotel and sits on the fourth floor which given its already elevated location gives you fantastic views over the bay of Naples. Once you open the heaviest menu I've come across, you'll see a good array of food. I had gnocchi followed by the stuffed chicken which was rather nice and my wife had the pork which we both enjoyed given the portion! For dessert we had to take on the rum bar bar which was presented in some strange penis-shaped plastic dish... Quite random. Prices of wine were quite reasonable and The pianist in the background made for a relaxing environment overall. There's probably better restaurants in Naples, but if you want something that's calm and chilled with some wonderful views, you can't go...
Read moreTasty ravioli with eggplants and recommended tasty pulled chicken salad. Fresh and savory vegetables. Amazing spaghetti chitara pasta with vengole (italian name for clams). Lovely terrace with tables under a wild mulberry’s tree for lunch right side of the pool on the 7th floor. Nice place to have lunch especially for the Vesuvius view and the friendly service. Toilets available on the other side of the pool. We had lunch on the 7th floor and the dinner is served on the 4th floor. Amazing lobster Couscous and tasty amuse-bouches. The bread is not freshly baked, the sea food not well cooked so I do not recommend the cuttlefish dish and the avocado in the starters dish not mature but they offered us a welcoming Prosecco and amuse-bouche and also one dessert and coffee. That was a nice gesture. Lovely dinner place with fireworks visible down in the city and talented piano player, tasty aperitifs snacks and cocktails. Lovely atmosphere. Dinner tables are on the fourth floor in the same location...

But… For Dinner:
Had to go find server to even be recognized when we arrived and sat
Had to go find server for a cocktail. We were told they didn’t have vodka.
Had to go find server to ask for a second cocktail - asked for Vodka again after seeing it on menu / told they don’t have the Belvidere or Grey Goose on the menu but had Skyy vodka. Well…. No comparison but OK then.
Had to find server to ask for a food menu. We were told because we were at a bistro style table 5 feet from the tables with a tablecloth and place settings we could not order food. We were asked move 5’ and sit away from the view of the city in order to eat.
There were TWO parties there for dinner oct 23, 2024. I would think they’d be happy to serve another...
