Very bad experience ! We had our airbnb nearby and the restaurant always was full. We ordered 3 pizza. To begin with the food took 1hour 30 minutes. They were overwhelmed. Simply dont take people in if you can’t manage and have only one chef serving 20 people and also take away service. We made sure to explain to the waiter that we didn’t want blue cheese. Not once, not twice but 3 times. We even translated it and pointed at the cheese on the menu and said NO. The pizza came with blue cheese, we had to switch pizzas. The second pizza came with parmigiano chips. It simply tasted like plastic. It was so old that we couldn’t even chew it. Even the waiter said it when i was paying the bill. There was aubergine skin… chewy and bitter. I fully understand that they were overwhelmed and we made sure the waiter knew what happened. Not even one apology. They were late 1h30, wrong order and unable cheese chips…. A simple sorry would have made things soooo much better. Very bad experience! It is sad because the dough is good....

To work on: they’ve become so focused on their take-away business that they are neglecting the customers in the restaurant. I think a little more care checking up on them, getting drinks, communicating when items are no longer available is needed. You shouldn’t have to wait 45 mins to be told that the pizza you ordered is not available. Also, we ordered the starter (street food) because of rice balls and fried aubergine, and instead we just got loads of potato croquets. On this they didn’t even tell us that they’d substituted items, we just had to discover it ourselves. Lastly, a slightly more cheery and welcoming demeanour for the hostess and staff wouldn’t hurt.
We struggled here between 2-3 stars, but the effort to get the ingredients and the good pizza swung it to 3. We won’t...
Read moreWent here with my girlfriend, it feels like you're in a more local area, which makes it feel authentic the waitress was super friendly and ultra sweet, told us about the daily specials. I wanted to try a limoncello before the pizza, and she explained that in Italy you usually drink that after the pizza. I got the recommended special cocktail of the day, she put pepper on it at the table. At first I was a bit shocked because I had never seen that before, but it tasted very good and interesting.
The pizza was truly amazing!!!
At the end when I asked to pay, she remembered I wanted to try the limoncello and gave us 2 limoncello when she brought the bill, on the house.
Would definitely recommend going here, an absolutely authentic...
