Ristorante Pizzeria Alba — Restaurant in Naples

The waiters were incredibly rude and unwilling to help the “American tourists”. I was traveling alone with a small child and they could care less. I attempted to use google translator but one of the waiters even yelled at me because I did not order the food in the correct order. I asked for a drink and he said someone else would get my order. I felt very rushed in the beginning. It was our first night in Naples and I stared to cry at the table, at this point a younger waiter had some compassion and attempted to help. As we were leaving the owner came over to the table and gave some tips on places to go in Napoli and she was very kind. I think the food was ok but nothing to write home about. I might go back and give them another try but it wouldn’t be my first choice. I’m sure if you’re a local this would be a great place but they dislike tourists that do not speak Italian. Pericolosi e incompetenti! Il 3 luglio sera sono andato con i miei tre figli a cenare presso il ristorante alba. Poiché ho un figlio celiaco prima di andare come da prassi ho telefonato al ristorante assicurandomi che fossero in grado di cucinare pasti senza glutine. Il ristorante mi ha tranquillizzato dicendomi “addirittura friggiamo le patatine in una padella a parte con olio dedicato”. Mi tranquillizzo e vado. Arrivati li ordino le patatine fritte e poi sempre per mio figlio un risotto alla Pescatora chiedendo per l’ennesima volta che fosse tutto senza glutine. Mi rassicurano nuovamente.arrivano le patatine fritte mi accorgo però che sono quelle surgelate e chiedo per l’ennesima volta: va bene che friggete nell’olio a parte ma le patatine surgelate devono essere senza glutine.queste sono senza glutine? Il proprietario sgrana gli occhi totalmente impreparato e mi dice che sarebbe andato a controllare… le patatine non erano senza glutine. Per fortuna avevo fermato mio figlio in tempo. Richiedo: siamo tranquilli sul risotto e tutto fresco?. Il proprietario: assolutamente non c’è pericolo è fatto tutto al momento. Arriva il piatto, mio figlio fa due forchettate e dopo 30 secondi sento il proprietario urlare dall’interno della sala offendendo il cameriere. Mi allarmo entro e chiedo cosa c’è che non va: il cuoco aveva calato il riso nell’acqua di cottura della pasta con glutine!!! Resto senza parole… e per fortuna mio figlio non si è sentito male. Commento del proprietario al cameriere: potevo passare un guaio! … e non : il bambino poteva passare un guaio!!! INCAPACI E PERICOLOSI … per concludere le patate fritte le ho anche...
