UniPoint Sri Lankan Food — Restaurant in Naples

One of the weirdest restaurant experiences I've had. The place seems to be targeted exclusively at the Sri Lankan expat population despite being right in the middle of Naples. The whole time I was waiting in line, not one Italian nor tourist showed up, and everybody was talking to the staff in their local language. Eventually a kind man helped me order my food, which was extremely delicious and authentic (the chili pepper was uncompromisingly spicy!), and cost only 4 Euros. 5 stars for the food, but I'm pretty sure the staff don't actually intend to serve any non-Sri Lankans, which is really funny. I don't know if the local Sri Lankans collectively subsidize its costs or something.

If you can bear the eerie discomfort of being the only foreigner among 10+ Sri Lankans in the middle of Naples, by all means go try it out. It's pretty much the most authentic South Asian food I've had...

Delicious srilankan stir fries, five stars for value for money. Mostly local srilankan customer base, and It's sad to say but the staff isn't always super friendly or available to non-srilankan customers. Most of the time they are though, and the staff speaks both English and Italian. Many nutritious vegan and vegetarian options (I love spicy legumes like Dahl [lentils] or chana masala! [Chickpeas]). I wish they'd make desserts more often. I had a supertasty lightly-spiced carrot cake from here once. I am a srilankan living in uk i visited this restaurant when i was on a vacation to italy . I wanted to try sinhalese food since i left srilanka but couldnt find any in London.i have tasted many but nothing tasted like typical srilankan food. This place is heaven the way the owner treated us is priceless. We ate mixed friend rice prawn devil egg hoppers meat rotti wattalappam rolls egg bun .
