The museum is a short metro ride and then walk from Piazza Garibaldi, the ticket is decently priced (not too cheap and not too expensive), it has a self serve facility at ticket counter to keep your bags and coats (though I recommend you keep your coat on).
The actual exhibition, which includes works of art story telled with a Pompeii theme and some correlation, is quite vague and requires, at times, forceful interpretation to see what the artist was trying to achieve.
